  1. It's going to be hard for Arraez to start in the ASG. Does he deserve it? Yes of course he does. But 1st base has Guerrero Jr. Abreu and others who will get way more votes than Luis will. Even though none of them are having anywhere near the season he is. STUFF the ballot box.
  2. You rang? Wasn't Lurch's brother Richard Kiel the guy who played Jaws in the Bond movies
  3. Oh really. So he can make plays like he did last night
  4. He's been expendable for the last 2 years. But the Twins were and probably still are afraid to cut ties. Watch.
  5. Negative ghost rider. I have 1-4 Chi Chi Rodriguez persimmon wood clubs. My irons are long gone except for my 1 iron which I seldom use.
  6. Could not agree more. Those 4 teams. Tampa Bay Oakland and Cleveland and the Twins all put a competitive team on the field consistently. They give their fans just enough to keep the revenue coming in without huge investments on their part. Don't mention Donaldson or Correa because neither were LONG TERM. They will develope young talent and unload said talent before it costs them big money. This keeps the fans happy and interested and most important spending. The other thing they all have in common, is for all the times those teams have reached the playoffs, not 1 has won it all. Let's just pretend for a moment. If Lewis, Kiriloff, Miranda, Larnach, Ryan, Duran, all become superstars, perennial all-stars whatever. How many will sign long term with the Twins when they're eligible for free agency. That would be a big fat 0. Same number as world series championships they will win using their current M O. And don't say Buxton, because if he weren't so fragile he wouldn't be here either
  7. No, that'll be Nick Gordon
  8. The electronic board game. Operation
  9. Good job by Jax. Is that 3 or 4 consecutive starts of at least 6 innings by Smeltzer?
  10. I'm talking about the carom. Watch the replay. They both stood there for at least 2 seconds
  11. Gordon should get that no doubt, But what was Kepler doing? They both stood there deciding who was going to run it down
  12. Correa to Polanco. I got this
  13. It'd free. Just need to create an apple ID # ,it took me 5 min. And I'm a tech midget
  14. And it is a damn shame because he is such a great person. He's battled back before, let's hope he can do it again
  15. That's not what I said. Levine stated that when all of you were in an uproar over Lewis being sent back to AAA was for Lewis to gain experience at all these different positions. He got to play 1 or 2 games so how much experience did he get. Next to none. If he had more I said perhaps this injury doesn't occur
  16. No you're not wrong. It was said by the FO that the reason he was sent back down was to familiarize Lewis with playing corner OF CF 3B and 1B. I believe he got to play 1 or 2 games in the OF. Granted, Lewis is a great athlete. But learning to play CF on the fly is tough. Angles taken, the wall, the warning track all take time to learn. If he had a few more games under his belt in CF, perhaps this injury doesn't occur.
  17. To suggest the Twins quit is crazy talk. The Yankees bullpen did a real good job. I didn't see any panic Twins hitters faces. Their bullpen was better. True, there were several defensive lapses and to all the Urchela lovers. Someone needs to tell him he's not Usain Bolt. He's not even Austidillo. He runs like he's pulling a boat anchor. Those mistakes were the difference as well as hanging a couple pitches to a guy hitting a buck fifty. I didn't see anyone cowering in fear. The 22-19 run diffential for the series suggests that. Clean up a few things and they're good. FANS might be afraid but the players, I doubt it
  18. We'll at least we hung with the Yankees. Baby steps.
