  1. Rocco seems like he throwing in the towel on this season. I would not be shocked one bit if he pursues other managerial openings this off-season. I would bet his representation putting out feelers to other organizations. He seems checked out.
  2. We face a left hander tomorrow. Expect a weird line-up for that one. To many gut wrenching losses this year. Chalk this one up as another. Monday and today were sure bummers.
  3. How many more times will we see Twins experiment with leverage situations and inexperienced relievers? Bullpen has been a flat tire and led to many gutt wrenching losses. Twins front office and ownership will have a lot of explaining to do this off-season. When fans could see bullpen was a weakness and have Bern calling it out all year, your organization has issues.
  4. This game is going to embolden Ownership to cut payroll even more I predict. Especially after what Tigers pulled off. Twins lack the elite speed that Cleveland and Detroit have on defense. I have no idea why Farmer was shading to first base instead of up the middle on Ronny's first hitter. That was an interesting to illogical shift to say the least. Routine ground ball with normal positioning or shading up the middle. Beginning of seasons end tonight.
  5. Twins have a flat tire of a bullpen all year. A lot of Twins fans were concerned about bullpen all year and it is as bad an Achilles as stranding runners. Rocco seems to be throwing in the towel. I mean choices were not great but an inexperienced Rookie?
  6. This game should have been a win. No idea why Ronny Henriquez was pitching in this leverage spot, he of 19 big league innings. I called sending down Alcala dumb, even with his erratic pitching, I would have trusted him more than a rookie. Every button FO or manager, staff push goes to S right now. We have snatched defeat from jaws of victory 3 times against Guardians.
  7. Rocco is a nob but our ownership absolutely SUCKS for leaving us without options in bullpen. So many blown saves this year, it is disheartening as a fan to see this movie repeated.
  8. Fearless Rocco with his magic touch..
  9. I hate our owners! This pitcher is clueless
  10. Gosh that Santana double play looms large.
  11. This is the wrong pitcher for this spot. Fastball is too hitable
  12. Pocket change to Pohlads. You are right though it's the Pohlads.
  13. Agreed we should pick up Kimbrel
  14. Crud. Varland is warming up. Things could go to S quickly. I was wrong about Varland. Louis is no bueno right now.
  15. Can we trade Joe Pohlad for someone else from the organization? He brought bad karma, and PR to the Twins, poor at PR and negotiating TV contract. Left half the fans in dark for good portion of season. He is as bad at PR as Carl was. That and he is micromanager that doesn't let the front office improve the team at critical trade deadline.
  16. My favorite team, blows another lead. Just not gonna be the Twins year is it? Another deflating loss.
  17. 2nd highest ERA of bullpen since All Star break. Can't convert runners in scoring position, starters 3 out of 5, cannot pitch more than 4 innings. Twins are a flawed team. We have lost a lot of chances this season due to lack of depth or injury. Combine penny pinching ownership and not a lot of good has happened in 2024.
  18. I do, anytime you make playoffs anything can happen.
  19. Anyone pitching well at AAA. Cannot keep having the starting pitchers getting creamed, early and often.
  20. What brutal base running that was. Does anyone else blow out a big potential inning like the Twins? Sometimes you cannot make it up.
  21. Would be nice if Twins hitters would work some counts, extend the play so that pitchers would actually get some rest between innings.
  22. Twins had known injury issues in the bullpen and rotation at the trade deadline. The fact the only move they could make was the Richard's trade for a C level prospect was telling. If ownership had allowed the front office to do more I think they would have. I don't know what the right answer was, but I know a lot of us fans were disappointed in the lack of moves at the deadline, at least rental additions. I for one was really hoping a left handed reliever would be added because Okert was showing sides of fading, and Thielbar has had a tough year compared to his past inputs and previous years. Could not predict snowball of injury's but with out history of them would have like to see more contingency additions to help tge major league club.
