    Bullpen and Funderburk hitting that base runner was key play in the 7th led to an additional run, an underlying cause of the loss.. Funderburk has decent stuff but he loses focus a lot and does dumb stuff. Then Brooks Lee whiffs on the ball and Twins give up the Sac fly foe a run. Story of the Twins season last year. This group is ranked 29th on defense in tge league for a reason we can bit j about the offense, strike outs but Twins poor defense bites them again and again. When you have a small margin for error self inflicted errors pile up. Maybe time for the kid in AAA to man shortstop position. This team doesn't have much injury margin either to key players. Clemmons isn't hitting a lick, not sure why he is on the Twins. Defense not enough for a lack of hitting or on base percentage. A few spots on the Twins could be improved. Keaschall gets a leadoff double, doesn't even move off second base. Twins ugly defense even amongst the nice plays lets them down.

    Abel really is enducing some groundball outs tonight. He is good when he pitches games like tonight.Falvey might have really did the Twins a solid bringing on Bradley and Abel in light on injury's. Pleasant surprise.

    Winning and Home runs are contagious. Wonder how long the fun will last.

    Twins have the highest amount of ABS challenges in MLB. Who knew Twins were getting the shaft on balls and strike calls? WHO, Who, who. TWINS FANS, that's who.

    Yes I miss having Louis Varland on the Twins. Hulk would make a good closer. We are not getting him back I don't think.

    He plays ok defense, but he outman cannot hit a lick. Roden not exactly lighting it up for Saints.

    Larnach clobbered that ball. That was a Bomba like shot

    I think it is the configuration of Rogers place, having to cover a lot of ground with footspeed rather than arm. Larnach doesn't throw very well.

    Winning is a good deodorant as John Madden used to say. I like positive Twins news, rather than being negative goose. I could get used to this winning thing.

    Athletic play by Refsnyder, seems to be fitting in well with Seattle.

    Old friend Sherrif Chris Paddack should consider a move to the bullpen. I know he likes being a starting pitcher but that ERA, 8.31 woof. He did manage to get through 4innings on Sunday against the Yankees, and they got through that line-up. Marlins managed a win. Thought he was actually pretty good in the bullpen late in the year that year coming off TJ for the Twins. I don't know with his past arm trouble though if the bullpen would suit him, but in his brief stint here at it, thought he was decent. Wonder if Marlins will keep him or flip him in a trade.

    What is the Twins bullpen name, Cole Sands, Taylor Rogers and a bunch of stains. The chewing gum on the shoe gang.

    Speaking of missing Ex-Twins I miss ,Louie Smash and the Hulk music. Wish Twins could bring Varland back from Toronto. Should have kept him.

    Brooks Lee has a look that he doesn't want to be here on his face. Think he misses his buddy the Sheriff, Paddock who is in Miami.

    Bailey been doing alright tonight. Hopefully his velocity ticks up on fastball when it warms up. He throws a nice curveball, when he is locked in.

    Can they get Special assistant Justin Morneau or TK over to St Paul to do the first base drills for either Gonzalez or Roden. We could use a guy with a good bat at 1st base. You still gotta be able to pick it over there.

    Nice win by the Twins. Bradley pitched a gem, and the bats actually got to Skubal. Winner winner, chicken dinner.

    I think we will see Altavilla and a few Saints bullpen guys in the near future, or some waiver claims.

    Hopefully Outman not a long term guy. I mean he's a bench player but he really doesn't get much playing time.
