  1. I want Culpepper starting at SS for the Twins not the Saints. The time is now to get more athletic up the middle.
  2. Improve the defense up the middle. Hell i would rather have Lewis at Shortstop and Lee at 3rd base just for some more range. We don't have very good options at 1st base that's only reason I mention Lewis at 1st, to get Lee out of the short stop spot.
  3. I'm ready for Brooks Lee to play third base and if Lewis cannot play some first base move on from him. This team needs Culllpepper at SS just for his range.
  4. Topa has a mediocre fastball with little to no movement. He stunk last year, and he stunk during Spring training, and has a penchant to hang pitches in the hitting zone. No idea why Twins are rostering Topa beyond the money they are paying him. He has not been successful during his Twins run. One of my least favorite Twins players in the last decade. This is a poorly constructed roster. There is some talent but the bullpen is very below average. This doesn't appear to have the makings of a team that will win very many games.
  5. Agreed, need to free up some outfield spots by moving on from Larnach and Outman. Would like to see them move on from a logjam of cement shoe guys.
  6. I predict 63 wins and I'm a diehard. Unless they dump some of these struggling veterans and go with the younger outfielders, move on from Royce Lewis, move Brooks Lee to third, get rid of Larnach, and bring up Culpepper from AAA, this will be a wasted development season. Starting pitching looks like a potential flop, and bullpen is bubble gum, and band-aids. I don't see Royce Lewis or Larnach as reliable major league hitters. Rest is just average, to below average.
  7. I would trade Larnach for International bonus pool money, just to open up a roster spot on 40 man and 26 man roster.
  8. Nah you have to keep Roden over Outman, that or trade Larnach. .
  9. Twins should dump Larnach.
  10. I would shop Larnach too, we a have a good amount of young outfielders that need playing time. Gonzalez or Rodriguez will need to be called up this year after May, I presume. Walker Jenkins will be on the horizon too. We got guys that need major league experience that we do not want to get stale.
  11. Same, would like to see Twins move on from Larnach. I only mentioned Wallner in the same light because he would bring back more in any potential trade. Would prefer the Twins trade Larnach.
  12. They need to trade either Larnach or Wallner. They are same guy. Honestly Larnach they should trade while some teams still think he has upside.
  13. Travis Adams does not look like he is a big league pitcher at least not last year and so far this Spring.
  14. Would seem logical that the Twins should be in the market for another veteran starter with the injury to Pablo Lopez. I know they have a stable of young guys in Abel, Bradley, Festa, Woods Richardson and Festa Matthews. I would think Matthews, Festa and Bradley or Abel may be candidates to help us out of the bullpen. Bradley and Abel both have bullpen experience. Not saying with certainty they sign a guy like Giolito but it would not hurt to have a veteran starter near the top of the rotation. Giolito was always tough against us when he was with the White Sox, think he could help the Twins. Money will be the question.
  15. I would sign Couloumbe back, and I like Kinley too.
  16. Can the Twins please cut Gasper too? Kiersey jr. and McCusker gone, one dead weight left.
  17. I doubt it, Pohlads have always financed everything related to the Twins through their own banks. Only thing I can think of is this large amount of debt is including the Pohlad Stadium costs, and yearly operating losses capitializeded as debt for Tax purposes. I mean the original loan to buy the team from 1984 is still on the Twins balance sheet, which they pay themselves interest from. The stadium portion of the Pohlad debt has to be on the books like some type of loan since they don't own the building
  18. J9nah Heim would make a a lot of sense as the Twins need catching depth behind or to compliment Jeffers.
  19. I like most of HOWEDA7 LIST. Wonder if Twins would have aby interest in Jacob Webb the relief pitcher the Rangers released? Thought he had good strike out stuff and would be a good candidate for a 7th inning or 8th inning guy.
  20. Yeah I don't think Bichette is happening. If they trade Joe Ryan, i really hope they get a staritng shortstop or catcher back at a minimum to improve team defense and hit a little.
  21. How about instead of just dumping people they Twins invest in a catcher, and short stop. This team needs speed up the middle and a catcher that can throw people out. Pohlads will do the predictive thing which is too cut instead of keep pitching. They have the makings of a pretty good rotation as is. They need bats and offense and better defense. Sometimes the best things to do in sports isn't always the easiest or what everyone is saying. May actually draw some fans if you out a competitive product on the field. They have the makings of a good rotation, why blow that up? But that isn't our ownership they always take the easy way out and slash. Should try to move some outfield pieces to bring in infield help.
  22. Wouldn't mind if Molitor was a special assistant to Shelton. He's a numbers guy and good at crunching the analytics. I mean I don't think he would do it, but with the Twins they can use all the help they can get with advanced game scouting.
  23. Was not against Suggs, just with uncertainty of bullpen arms, do not mind Hawkins being given a chance to coach.
