  1. Ready for Keaschall to have some time with the Saints, rediscover his swing and get his confidence back.
  2. Morris has the stuff to be a top end reliever if he can command the cutter and change up, This makes his 4 seamer look really fast. He is a talented dude.
  3. I think Morris is tipping pitches and has a tell. He has the same look when throwing a 4 seam fastball, elevates high, reaches into his gliove, and seems to grip the ball the same way each time he throws his four seem fastball. The reaching into the glove and raising it high being repetitive would seem to be a tell on film. When he throws certain off speed pitches, he falls off to the same side of mound which is another tell. I think the falling off is effecting command on off speed stuff. They are gonna have fugure out how to vary his delivery without it being picked up live, or on film. Everyone watches tablets so they are getting much quicker information live. The raising up and gripping the ball every time on a four seamer each time looks like a tell. He has good movement, just gotta harness it.
  4. I would keep Kriedler, Arcia and Gray are similar defenders. Arcia is a switch hitter.
  5. I think Morris out of bullpen has a tell on his pitches. Every time he raises up high, you can see him go into his glove and grip the ball and he throws a 4 seamer. The reason I say it's a tell is from game to game, on that high motion you can seem him go to grip the ball a certain way in his glove, and then a 4 seam is thrown. Showing this look from game to game seems like a tell or a way to tip what is coming. Seems if you can pick that consistent look up on tv you would on live game film or tablet.
  6. Culpepepper would bring some speed, range, decent arm and defense to middle of infield. To a lot of Saints and Twins fans, he is ready to help the Twins. Not sure why Zoll and Shelton are reluctant to give him a chance. Too much losing with the guys in place, and the line-up not doing great anyhow.
  7. The current Twins roster is full of players you describe above, has been's and never were's. Instead of dumping these type of players, the Twins roster features them playing SS, outfield, catcher and really most of the body of the bullpen. The kicker is they, FO and ownership seem content with losing with all these older long in the tooth guys. Why not give some of the younger AAA players a shot instead of claiming rejects and they do not help the team anyways. Since the injury run the Twins have lost quite a few baseball games. Fools gold to not develop younger better talent and keep losing. I would not send Keaschall down, but I would cut half the crappy lousy bullpen. I agree it is time to move on from Kriedler, Bell and half the bullpen arms. Bullpen is a sham.
  8. Would it kil the Twins to give a few of the talented guys with the Saints a chance?
  9. Another absolutely pointless bullpen addition. How about if your gonna try and add to the bullpen, trade for some younger guys with talent that project as bullpen arms, or you know promote a few internally in your organization. Not keep scouring waiver wire. Meet Zoll, just like Falvey after ownsership pulled the rug out on payroll.
  10. Hopefully the weather clears, and everyone is safe, get the game in.
  11. Losing all these 1 run games sucks. Shows the team is still missing some things, more good bullpen arms amongst them.
  12. CULPPEPER hit his 14th home run for Saints tonight. Would be nice to see advance to the show with the Twins soon.
  13. Sounds like Luke has putting extra fielding practice, so he is putting in the work to fix things . Which is good to hear. Heard that on radio broadcast tonight.
  14. Good rally by the Twins. Fun watch tonight.
  15. Lawrence is not effectively wild, he cannot even find the strikezone. Bad addition by Zoll and FO, and in a short sample size does not look good for future considerations.
  16. Derrick Shelton specifically called out dropped balls, mistakes, a wild pitch and defensive errors tonight in his press conference. Luke Keaschall is still a rookie and very little is mentioned of his inconsistent hitting, sloppy base running, and dropped balls, and errors in the field. He Luke seems to be treated with kids gloves by Twins FO and clubhouse management. Luke lacks focus and has been very below average on defense this year, at least from a fielding perspective. About time he stops making mindless errors, and it has nothing to do with athleticism. Take extra infield practice Luke.
  17. Can we say every infielder on Twins current mlb roster is better than Royce Lewis. The answer is no.
  18. If the objective is to win games and develop players Culpepper should be atarting at SS for the Twins by next week.
  19. Lawrence should have never bern traded for by the Twins. GM Zoll is in the deep end of the swimming pool and cannot swim.
  20. Another wasted bullpen spot on a washed dude with control problems and no success. Yeah, good idea, not.
  21. I think he Lewis is faster and better athlete than he get's credit for. Keaschall doesn't have the arm for outfield role due to past shoulder or arm injury. If Clemens can play back up CF, certainly Lewis can with his previous more recent experience in that place than Clemens, I would say they are at least equal in foot speed, but Lewis has more experience reading ball off the bat. (I kniw the injury history). We are better on defense with Clemens at 1st or 2nd base overall. Versatility is the name of the game, when you have injury's continue to happen and pile up. I think Royce is willing to help the Twins in any role they just about give him, just make him have fun, and when you see the smile you know he is having fun playing baseball. I still think there is un-tapped potential in Royce Lewis. He has always been a good ambassador and good with young Twins fans, gracious with his tine. I believe Royce can still have a good outcome with Twins and help. Outman is so late on his swings, and strikes out a lot, beyond late inning pinch running(only useful spot), doesn't have a good arm due to past injury.
  22. Well said Stringer Bell, concur with all of what is said here.
