  1. I would trade Duran. He has least amount of team control left and is least likely to sign an extension. Duran's agents gonna ask for the moon on money and term. I don't want to see him go but he is going to be hard to sign.
  2. He's both out front and late. Needs to stop moving around and bouncing so much. Way touch movement with the bat.
  3. He's not far off from hitting well just a little late on some swings. He's actually fouling off a lot of pitches, just needs to get his timing back. The guy that is really stranding a lot of runners on base is Wallner. Wallner is striking out a ton and not even moving runners over. This team needs more speed in right field and to move on from Wallner. Wallner bat's in RBI spots a lot and if you look at the first half the season he isnt driving in runs much or moving guy's over. Not good at small stuff. I'm way more frustrated with Wallner than Lewis. Wallner is pulling off the fastball instead of squaring it up. Guys got talent but he isn't putting it together.
  4. Yep, Wallner isn't a plus player in anything but throwing. Stone feet slow.
  5. WALLNER cannot even get the runner over. Stock predictable strike out from Wallner. He is a below average defender and not a great hitter.
  6. I'd like to see Raya get a shot at starting instead of this opener and then Adam's stuff after All Star break. Maybe Matthews will be back soon though.
  7. We should be so lucky the Pohlads would finally sell. Then at least all there crappy debt losses from other failed businesses like the Bring Me the News and GO radio, and Films funded that were flops, would be off the Twins books.
  8. I would take Henriquez back if we could get him for a Miranda from the Saints like prospect. Ronnie looks like he has things figured out. Not sure Marlins would give him up now though. He is pitching decent.
  9. Twins Winning a game is a felling almost forgotten. Hopefully they can go on a winning streak.
  10. Could we trade Rocco Baldelli to the Pittsburgh Pirates, they need a manager and he is an East Coast guy. I would trade Rocco to Pirates for them assuming his contract and a bag of salted peanuts. I have lost complete faith that any actions he takes will make the Twins better.
  11. I've seen videos on YouTube of him Bauer pitching for the Rojos of Mexicio city in the Mexican league. Im not advocating for the Twins to sign him. I just said MLB scouts likely watching, and it is possible a MLB team will take a flyer. With a bunch of injury's in MLB who knows there may be an owner that rolls dice. Im well aware of the scandal, court cases and SA allegations and that MLB suspended him. He did seem to be actively pitching in a professional league in Mexico over the winter. Unless those videos are fake. Back in Japan pitching with Baystars so seems to be making tax free money. At 34 years old I'm not signing him if I'm the Twins. Could see the Rays or Cubs possibly roll the dice. I doubt it would cost much to buy out or trade with the Japanese team. I mean there could be just as much as chance the Savannah Bannanas sign Bauer as a stunt.
  12. I know he has been pitching well in the Mexican league and giving his team innings. At some point an MLB team will give Bauer a chance. Inless there is an unspoken ban. Just don't see the Twins franchise being that team. Twins could really use another starter.
  13. I know there are injuries and fatigue going on. Is any of what is happening with the collapse on the field a direct result of Joe Pohlad cutting area scouts, advanced scouts and cheaping out on operations and sales staffing. Pohlads pinching pennies like they are going broke? Cannot be great karma to dump loyal long time area Scouts and advanced scouts and analytics staffs. The franchise is run like a rusty can, rinky dink, no innovation or neglect run down store. We kind of all know when you cut corners and cheapen quality things can go to heck. Joe has been a complete bust as managing partner. If anyone truly needs to get the boot by his own family it is Joe. Whatever goodwill they once had even from two years ago Joe Pohlad ruined with his insane public comments about right sizing payroll and then all of the cutting of staff this year. Basic business 101 don't announce your liquidating or reducing the quality of your products to the customers or media partners. Epic fail by Joe. He should not be running the Twins, it starts with him at the top tanking the product. Joe set the tone of cutting to the bone and the poor quality followed.
  14. I don't know how Kyle Gibson could possibly be any worse than what is going on with the starting rotation right now? At least he would have decency to be a professional and not lose his cool if there is a mistake in the field. One thing he would know how to do is watch film and you know actually try to give some innings.
  15. I doubt there is even an ounce of embarrassment by the coaches or players of the Twins. I know 4 season ticket holders that have said if Rocco is back there giving up their tickets. Two of them of full season and 2 seats each in 212 and 109. They are tired of the sabermetric shifts, poor fielding position, lack of attention to detail and then not being able to execute basic stuff like a bunt here and there, a sacrifice fly or even a productive out. Don't even get started on the pitching. All the nibbling, then giving up home runs every game. Do you believe it is fatigue or injuries? Or the players don't flat out give a flying flip anymore. This team is bleeding sponsorships, poor TV deal, Joe Pohlad should absolutely fire himself or step down.
  16. Twins used to care, now they have a collection of players that all they care about is if the checks clear. Dead last here we come in the American league. White Sucks are gonna catch them. Mine as well play the Cops theme, bad boys bad boys watch ya gonna do when they come for you. How does Ober go from looking competent to even decent to Ron Davis Mr. Gopher ball.
  17. I agree by far but I think Martin is injured again at AAA.
  18. Gross. How is this even possible. Pohlad ownership flat out has zero pride in this asset or self awareness of how orcwhat a disaster is happening to the Twins. This isn't just a collapse it is an embarrassment to MLB and professional baseball to be playing like this. These players are cooked and completely checked out. Im tired and baseball is no longer fun to watch.
  19. They need to remove Rocco Baldelli just to shake things up and create a different leader in the clubhouse. You cannot fire all of the players or the entire team. Honestly I don't see how the Saints manager Toby Gardenhire could do anything worse with this team. This is a complete roster collapse. Wallner has talent and his swing is in the crapper.
  20. I have 4 free tickets to tomorrow nights game that I got from work. Nobody that agreed to go wants to go to the game and it's dollar hot dogs on Tuesday and supposed to be good weather. Jeebus anther game of pitching batting practice. This is getting so out of hand.
  21. Depth, he isnt a very good offensive player at the major league level. He is chaffe.
  22. Why is the Twins pitching staff started to give up home runs and scores like a D league softball team that is going to be 10 run ruled except thus is MLB. I know the weather has changed. It's like a curse has set in, balls just getting past the defense. Twins are smoking some balls but keep getting caught. Clubhouse needs sage or something. Twins seem a bit cursed during this run of injuries and giving up a ton of runs. Middle relief to long relief seems lacking. This Wentz they picked up is getting hit hard. Needed another lefty but this dude hasn't been it. Topa has been hit hard lately.
  23. Trade for someone. All these close losses are starting to grate. Wallner should have been able to catch that ball that got down that let Reds retake the lead with a better break or a better defensive outfielder. For all the bats Wallner has had he is turning into a strike out machine. Hes not adjusting or showing improvement. BASEBALL is a tough mentally draing game, never easy. Guys that are on one year deals or will not be back, flip them and get something for them asset wise rather than let the players leave or walk. Too often the Twins just let players like that, like Santanna last year sign elsewhere. This team isn't going anywhere and isn't a playoff team as constructed. Get some assets for guys like Bader, France, a, Castro or a Vasquez whoever else you can get as options. Move on from players like Bride, or Kiersey Jr that are AAAA fringe mlb players. Get a good defensive catcher from one of the returns with a good arm. Not hitting, there defense doesn't matter and not making difference making plays. The starting pitching isnt doing the job. Way to many strikes outs and poor at bats. Some of the fringe bench guys have very little success. This team needs change, and a new mix. The only one that is playing at a top level is Buxton. Trade Paddock and get some assets. This is a tailspin losing streak just like occurred to end last season. The team hasn't learned anything and is going side ways to backwards again. At best this is 500 spin your wheels team.
