Trade for someone. All these close losses are starting to grate. Wallner should have been able to catch that ball that got down that let Reds retake the lead with a better break or a better defensive outfielder. For all the bats Wallner has had he is turning into a strike out machine. Hes not adjusting or showing improvement. BASEBALL is a tough mentally draing game, never easy. Guys that are on one year deals or will not be back, flip them and get something for them asset wise rather than let the players leave or walk. Too often the Twins just let players like that, like Santanna last year sign elsewhere. This team isn't going anywhere and isn't a playoff team as constructed. Get some assets for guys like Bader, France, a, Castro or a Vasquez whoever else you can get as options. Move on from players like Bride, or Kiersey Jr that are AAAA fringe mlb players. Get a good defensive catcher from one of the returns with a good arm. Not hitting, there defense doesn't matter and not making difference making plays. The starting pitching isnt doing the job. Way to many strikes outs and poor at bats. Some of the fringe bench guys have very little success. This team needs change, and a new mix. The only one that is playing at a top level is Buxton. Trade Paddock and get some assets. This is a tailspin losing streak just like occurred to end last season. The team hasn't learned anything and is going side ways to backwards again. At best this is 500 spin your wheels team.
