The Pohlads did exactly to the fan base of the Twins as Red MCCombs did to the Vikings in trading off Randy Moss except McCombs did as an immature parting shot at Minnesota for not building the Vikings a stadium under Red's ownership. What is the Pohlads and specifically Joe Pohlads excuse for nuking the franchise? Twins fans and Minnesotans built them a stadium, One the Twins never have really paid their portion of the stadium debt on? Twins fans have never demanded zealous spending like the Yankees, or Mets or Giants or Red Sox, just ocassionally trying to win a championship. The foundation wasnt just imploded the building was totally dropped, they left rubble today. We a lot of us have supported the team buying tix or merchandise. We are not the ones that made poop decisions on the broadcast contracts or partnerships and radio sponsorship deals. The Twins sign a sponsorship with Securian then they Nuke the roster. I mean they didn't just flip a bird to the fans, they flipped a bird to sponsorships, advertisers, the people they sold the entertainment product too. I mean who that owns a business would trust and want to build a relationship with this type of ownership group. They are poor business partners and sold the sponsors a beater car. I would be livid if I were Securian financial. I know money talks but future free agents and people with worth are not gonna wanna sign here. Falvey and Joe did a lot of damage today. They may have torpedoed selling even. It is hard to even see a vision of what they are trying to become. The team on the field now is slow, and not very athletic or exciting. Even with blowing it up there is a lot of complacency on accepting well were small market so that means we cannot simply compete with the big dogs. The Twins practically traded Target Field sections 108, 124, and the WIN in their name and would have traded TC bear if it saved the owners payroll money. Any major league team roster that contains Mickey Gasper, Deshawn Kiersey jr., Michael Tonkin, Noah Davis, Kody Funderburk, Justin Topa, isn't serious about winning Baseball games. I practically forgot Topa and Vasquez are still here. This franchise not only demoralized the fan base they have set competitive baseball back years. Why would any free agent or player with team control want to sign an extension? If the challenge was to enter the draft lottery the front office said challenge accepted. Byron Buxton isn't gonna want to come back to a team that had it's owner and FO drop a nuclear bomb on the clubhouse. Expect blowouts like 13 to 1 frequently and often. This team would lose some games to the Saints.

The Twins have never charged small to mid-market prices for tickets or concessions since they moved into Target Field. The customer service sucks. The reality is we have horrible management and development staff and talent evaluators. This group has been here 7 years. Instead of investing in area scouts, advanced scouting video and data analytics Joe Pohlad made cuts in all those areas including the baseball academy and international scouting . WE HAVE D- OWNERS and a rinky dink run franchise. What a demoralizing day today was. There is not one way you can put a positive spin on what was done today. Falvey has a lot of nerve saying what he said when most of his first round picks have been busts, or trades away and he has been in charge for 7 years. What we have is ownership with no championship pedigree, Calvin Griffith built those teams, no bold vision and no ability to build a winning culture. Blame the fans all you want but the entertainment product sucks. The Pohlads are Zero's and stink at baseball. They lucked into buying it, lucked into Andy McPhail, Bob Gebbard, and will profit from it historically.

The part that stinks for me most and I advocated for starting with some new pieces was that what is left iover. A lot of what is left over is a lot of guys that either underperformed, the corner outfielders and are not hitting well, and are not good defenders, and fill in guys. Instead of running talented younger players we are trotting out old guys that are old for prospects. Gasper, Kiersey jr, Clemmons, Bride, these are not players the Twins should be starting ever., not ever, those are barely bench guys. The whole organization feels like it is stripped of pride and competitive aptitude. Do well and be developed by Twins, what does it matter? Twins will not pay and reward you. This is what is referred to as studio baseball. Rays, A's , Reds they move players but are competitive historically, This is a return to 1994 to 2001 level of spinning wheels and being absurdly mediocre.

I mean it is pretty clear the Pohlads outside of Joe do not want to own the Twins and hate the fans. I hope whoever buys the Twins at least likes and is a fan of baseball.

Can Twins ownership easily break lease and move the team? I mean you know Pohlads if any live here are gonna pack up and move. What are chances that MLB would just let them pack up and move the franchise to another market? I doubt breaking the lease is even that expensive.

How would you like to work in Twins ticket sales, or be apart of Twins broadcast team and Twins Alimni. This wasnt just a big FU to the fans, the Twins ownshership Joe Pohlad did a big FU to all of them also. What happened today was an embarrassment to the game of major league baseball and the integrity of the game.

I mean what are we even doing? Do Twins even plan on fielding a major league roster. This is a complete FU to Twins fans by Pohlad ownership. I know the damaged but this goes beyond any of that. How are the coaching staff and remaining players supposed to feel about playing remaining games?
