  1. Yes this is getting old and has to be BS. They should look at the Yankees and some of their moves..(Excluding extending veterans).
  2. Perhaps Parker, but there are quite a few other pieces that should be moved.. Whether they move them is an another story..
  3. Looks like most people will be disappointed..
  4. Now let him play and we'll see what kind of player he is in the majors..
  5. Good return. I hope we see quite a few more trades here. Time to let the kids play..
  6. We need to blow things up.. But I don't think it will happen with this bunch..
  7. Well, shouldn't he be making calls around the league to see how other clubs value Santana? Should be a two-way street.. Him making calls and taking calls.. But to be fair to Antony, he did start out in ticket sales. St. Peter started out in the gift shop.. So we shouldn't have real high standards of this bunch.
  8. It's a lost season. Who cares if we win or lose one game.. But yes hopefully he practices and improves at 3B.
  9. It's a lost season. Give the guy some time. He didn't play this position in spring training. So going to be a bit rusty.
  10. When are we going to release Nolasco? The Twins have to quit being so cheap.. He's not going to build a trade value.. So be done with him..
  11. If Rob Anthony is going to be the one making trades.. That's a scary thought..
  12. I'll remember him for his consistent used car dealer pickups of reclamation projects. Yes some do pan out. But the vast majority of them do not..
  13. Catching: Free agent, backup Murphy although his defense is not very good.. Probably fine for a backup although. Corner Infield: Pretty set at the corners with Sano at 3B & some combo of Mauer, Park, Vargas at 1B Middle Infield: Polanco is probably ready. And Escobar. Outfield: 2/3 looks set with Buxton & Kepler. Are Rosario or Grossman. Perhaps Palka Starting Pitching: An (Ace / Number #2), Berrios, May, Duffey, Gibson Or Milone Everyone else open to trade. They should be able to get some decent offers..
  14. You have to keep him unless you can get something "Decent". He's been our most reliable starter on the team..
  15. I tend to think we are going to be disappointed with the lack of action at the deadline.. TR will say they were in on so-and-so players. But little gets done in the end..
  16. I guess as long as the checks keep coming in.. No need for change..
  17. Yeah I wonder how Wilson Ramos is doing.. AVG HR RBI OBP .332 11 38 .378 another great move by the Twins. Hopefully we clean house after this season..
  18. Nice article. I'd like to see more of Centeno and Polanco. We know what we have in Suzuki.. Centeno hit .275 in triple a. Let's see what he can do in the majors..
  19. Well he hasn't pitched much and particularly well. So would understand if he walked
  20. Man, you mention that name and it's a sad story.. Another reason to be mad at the FO.
  21. I have no faith in this front office to do anything that will improve the team. I'm waiting for them to sign Nunez, To a three-year extension
  22. I'm sure the front office is chomping at the bit to do so. Has one good year, lock him up. Hughes, Suzuki, etc.
  23. Does anyone get the Mastro move? I sure as hell don't. Time to get a new GM.
  24. Yeah I like that kid. Hope to see more of him
