Sure like to see Terry try hard to get Vogt from the A's.
  2. Winston Smith
You can always throw in Duensing.
  3. Winston Smith
Certainly not going to get him without Duensing being included.
  4. Winston Smith
The sad thing is all those good players we could have if Terry was only willing to give up Duensing.
  5. Winston Smith
Go for a package of Segura and Lecroy. Duensing plus whatever it takes. A post season chance is there, time to make use of the farm system when the chance is there. Position players that play every day will do more than a relief pitcher that might pitch once or twice a week, imo.

My tv has been on mute all year, I can't take Dick's mumbo jumbo anymore.
  7. Winston Smith
Package Arcia with whatever it takes to get Vogt. Billy has made dumber trades.

    Sisyphus would be proud!

I know they have said he won't be traded but that usually doesn't mean much (GM's never lie) so I'd go after Vogt with the A's. Very solid LH bat with some power and he'd fit nice into our lineup. Might cost a lot but we have plenty of prospects and few spots for them all.

Iglesias is a shortstop isn't he? How would he take Dozier's spot?
  11. Winston Smith
Sure you can make a case for Dozier but the 2 guys that made the team certainly deserve their places. Not everyone can make the team and there are likely 10-12 other players that could or should be there as well. Happens every year.

Considering that Nolasco was mediocre, in the NL, at his best I have little faith that we will ever get much out of the guy after surgery and a long lay off.
  13. Winston Smith
No, he is owed another 100 mill and his splits away from Coors are nothing special.
  14. Winston Smith
Gardy has big fork in him we don't want him back!
  15. Winston Smith
    Just like making a trade
  16. Winston Smith
    Everyone is faster than Poof!
  17. Winston Smith
Last year at this point the Twins were 36-40 and this year they are 40-36. 4 more wins is all, doesn't seem right for some reason.
  18. Winston Smith
Great not only are the umpires against us but now God is?

  20. Winston Smith
Lucky we didn't trade a productive major leaguer for this guy.

Is it time to blame the umpire yet?
  23. Winston Smith
who do you stick the fork in?
  24. Winston Smith
    You have the fork ready
  25. Winston Smith
Send him home he doesn't to be in Minnesota. Trade him to a team in Korea.
