Per Rosenthal, Angels acquire RHP Dylan Bundy from the Orioles. AAA RHP Isaac Mattson headed to Baltimore.

You might be referring to this article from ESPN that states: "We dream up one blockbuster signing or trade for every team" https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/28211999/one-blockbuster-move-all-30-mlb-teams Detroit Tigers trade LHP Matthew Boyd and RHP Buck Farmer to the Minnesota Twins for OF Trevor Larnach, LHP Lewis Thorpe and RHP Zack Littell

Any interest in RP Yimi Garcia, who was non-tendered by LA last night? 3.61 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 66/14 K/BB in 62 1/3 innings

I thought Cousins played good with Thielen still out. They've played what, 5 games now, with Diggs, Treadwell, and Bisi Johnson as our top 3 WR's. Still put up 30 points. Defense was terrible. Can't give up 450 yards and 37 points and expect to win. I don't think I heard Everson Griffin's name once. Nothing more to add on Rhodes that hasn't already been said. D might be getting old...Rhodes, Griffin, Joseph, even H.Smith.

Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Pirates have hired Derek Shelton to be their manager.

Here's an article from late August about his injury: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/mlb/tigers/2019/08/25/blaine-hardy-heals-questions-loom-his-future-detroit-tigers/2114910001/

Anybody watch Yellowstone on the Paramount network? Season 2 ended in August, but I finally got around to bingeing it the last few nights. Great show!

Berrios FA SP Odorizzi (*fingers crossed*) * Resign Pineda Dobnak/Smeltzer/Graterol/Thorpe compete in ST for the #4 & #5 spots. Two of them start while Pineda serves out his suspension. Once Pineda is reinstated and ready to go, one stays and the other goes back to Rochester. Having quality depth is a good thing!

Yes! My mother makes this every year and it is a huge hit, especially among my kids. They insist that she make it multiple times throughout the year. I believe the whipped topping is a combination of Cool Whip and cream cheese.

Resign Pineda, offer Odorizzi the QO and hopefully he accepts or signs an extension, and sign one of Bumgarner/Wheeler/Keuchel/Ryu. Out of ST, two of Graterol/Smeltzer/Dobnak/Thorpe round out the rotation, with Pineda replacing whichever one is struggling when he is in game-shape.

I know he turned down an extension last Feb/Mar, but a top priority for Twins should be to find a way to sign Berrios to a long-term deal.

I do like what Gibson brings to this club as a clubhouse leader, but when he is listed as the 7th highest rated SP and ahead of Odorizzi and Pineda, then I think maybe our options are better served by scouring the trade market. Outside of Cole and Strasburg, any of the other FA options have some kind of red flags that give me extreme pause (age, injury history, road splits, etc) in offering 4 year deals at over $15 million a year.

Hey guys, let's keep things light and simply pay homage to our favorite entertainers from the past. Thanks!

With Kiriloff (or perhaps Rooker) waiting in the wings for 2021, I think 1 more year of Cron makes sense unless there is another similar priced upgrade on the market for a 1 year deal. But I think we’ll likely see the same lineup we saw this year. I think it is telling that Royce Lewis played more than ½ his AFL games at 3B. And with Cruz turning 40 next season and it being the final year of his contract, 2020 could be his last year. In 2021: 1B – Kiriloff replaces Cron 3B – Lewis replaces Sano DH – Sano replaces Cruz

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and love it. Have always had them (S3, S5, now S9). Never had any Apple products, so Android seemed like a good choice whenever the smartphone trend started 12-15 years ago. With that said, I know plenty of people who swear by Apple, have iPhones, and love them.
