  1. Is it against the rules to ask for change when giving a hand-out?
  2. Framing isn't about fooling the umpires, so there's nothing for them to get "wise to".
  3. Most of his worst numbers are against the A's and Mariners, while some of his best are against the Yankees, Rays, and Blue Jays. fwiw
  4. The "but a little worse" part is what really hurts, because Francoeur was/is one of the poster children of having zero selectivity at the plate.
  5. Yeah, but think of how much more **** we'll be able to blow up now!
  6. Looking at plate discipline profiles and comparisons based upon his current numbers, Rosario profiles very similarly to Jeff Francoeur. 8. Buxton did show a big improvement in his walk rate over the last half of his plate appearances, moving from putrid to above league average. So while his ability to avoid the K didn't improve much, his discipline as a whole appears that it did, and that's a good start.
  9. I just scored myself another fantasic russian bride, albeit on the office computer. Makes you wonder what the office lady is doing in here during the day.
  10. Maybe not an upgrade, but more entertaining without a doubt.
  11. Or in the words of a starstruck 4-year-old, bwoken.
  12. Running a bit off-topic, but since I don't delve into the analytics of football like I do baseball, how much do these kind of rankings account for quality of opponent being covered? So Rhodes giving up more big plays but covers higher quality receivers more often, etc.
  13. I can get behind this. Maybe there are some things they can/want to do that would be easier to accomplish given some time in AAA. I sure as hell don't want to see an entire lame duck veteran rotation, but if the new leadership believes that it will provide some long-term benefit I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. (for now anyway )
  14. I agree. Where are the Grant Balfour's and Bob Walk's to keep it interesting?
  15. I only get those while playing solitaire on my phone.
  16. I was/am unaware of any discussions with the Russians that may or may not have occurred in or out of my presence.
  17. Yes, and now the long offseason re-begins. I for one am absolutely giddy in anticipation of the next round of Dozier trade discussions.
  18. No reason to correct her now, let it ride!
  19. Can't we just deport 'em? Maybe wall them in somewhere?

  21. I try to do at least five burpees after a greasy, fatty lunch, it relieves any built up pressure. Usually doesn't taste too bad the 2nd time around either.
  22. Less whatever a future team ends up compensating him, which is usually the league minimum.
