  1. Why is everyone so sure that Trump is going to "get bored" and drop out?
  2. Flat tax 25% across the board. I think tax brackets are a joke, why should I pay a higher percentage of my income then some lazy ass who never bettered himself and decided to work at wal mart his whole life? Just do a flat tax and be done with it. SS, Medicaid, Medicare, etc to be paid only by people making 500k+ a year (6-7% or so). The rich cover the poor. To make up for any "missing money", just add in a 1% national sales tax on all non essential goods. (Food, clothing under $50, water, medicine) Problem solved.
  3. Those people are "burnouts" because they are in fact lazy and lack motivation. If it wasn't for pot they would be sitting on their asses watching TV or something else that fails to contribute to society. Weed is so much insanely safer then Alcohol, just look at the number of drunk drivers, domestic abuse (involving alcohol), Rape, Date Rape, overdoses/alcohol posioning (There has never been a "weed" overdose, while 50,000 die every year from alcohol posioning and countless more from eventual liver failure) Alcohol has so many more problems then weed and it isn't even close. Hell, fast food is insanely less healthy and causes more issues to a person who smokes weed once a day.
  4. The positive connotations significantly outweigh the "negative" connotations, especially when you compare it to other "legal" drugs such as alcohol. I have never heard of alcohol being prescribed to a patient to treat an ailment. Yes, if someone smokes multiple times a day it can lead to some health issues (not nearly as bad as cigs btw), but for 99% of the users there is no real health risk/issue.
  5. 40%? He is fifth in the polls for his own party.
  6. Tomorrow's games: Gibson vs Anderson- Gibson better shake off the rust ASAP. Bassit vs Tropeano- Prob the A's best chance to steal a game vs the Angels, but still extremely unlikely. Fiers vs Nuno- Nuno has been hot garbage as of late and isn't very good in general. Houston has won 3 straight and Seattle has lost 5 straight. Likely more of the same. Twins need to absolutely win to keep pace tomorrow. If they get 2.5 games back at this stage, season is toast. Twins are now 3 games behind Texas technically, if somehow Rangers could get swept, and Twins could sweep the Indians, the Twins would be a a game behind them heading into the final series as well.
  7. It's over. Oakland is a dead team walking. Best shot for them to lose two games is if the Rangers stumble down the stretch and "need" those wins this Fri-Sat-Sunday. Angels will sweep the A's. Book it.
  8. Angels win.
  9. If Angels win this, the Twins are in deep deep trouble. Would need to go 5-1 and hope that both of Angels and Houston go (5-2 and 4-2) or worse to end the season against some pretty bad teams. That only gets you to a tie of course.

    10-3

As I said, 10-3 needed. They need to go 5-1 from here on out to hope for a game 163 and event then it might not be enough to even push for a tiebreaker game. Houston has a great shot to go 4-1, which means the Twins would need to go 6-0 to "tie" them. 3-2 at absolute worst for Houston, which means 5-1 for the Twins means they "tie" Makes you wish Molitor didn't piss away multiple wins throughout the season with bullpen management and bench/PR/PH management and TR would have tried to fix the pen just a tad bit sooner than the absolute last minute. Oh well.
  11. Astro's win. 3 games in a row on the road, so much for that silly "Stros can't win on the road" Take people were tossing around. Zero margin for Error for the Twins moving forward. 5-1 is needed minimum.
  12. He frankly has no business being in the middle of a presidential debate nor has any business having a position like he currently does. But of course LOLTexas.
  13. Star Spangled Banner God Bless America Both should stop. Also, the Replay system and the length of time it takes to get it "right" or "wrong" is ridiciulous, you don't need all 4 umps huddling up like it's a freaking 3rd and 10. Have them signal down within 20 seconds whether the call was right or wrong. It's 2015. Not the JFK assissination where we only have the Zapruder film to work with. NFL is 1,000,000x Worse, but at least they have the commercials excuse to use. Also, pitching coaches trips to the mound is getting old, let them "signal" or "yell" into the catcher and let him handle it. The silent treatment, shaving cream, and sunflower seeds are all in good fun. Not sure how that can bother anyone to be honest.
  14. I don't think we can really catch Texas. But the main thing is, if needed, Texas needs to not get "too far up" on the Angels for the last series so the Rangers have a reason to beat the Angels once or twice if the Twins need it.
  15. Disagree highly.
  16. Houston takes the lead. I can't see them losing more than one game against this Mariners team. I think the Twins need to got 5-1 to have a shot to end up in a game 163 currently. One of the Angels or Astros will manage to lose no more than 2 games from here on out.
  17. Except none of that is true. Especially the addicts and mental health parts.
  18. You were. Any "buzz" was pretty much in your head and psychosomatic ( I think I am using that word incorrectly but you get my point) The "I only tested positive for pot because I was around it" has been proven false time and time again. Again, unless they are literally blowing it, into your face, and you are then breathing it in purposely or you are literally in a small and unventilated room you won't feel a physical effect. So, honestly, it's really easy to avoid "not getting high", if you sit in a tiny room with a bunch of smoke...I mean...you sorta know what you are getting into? no?
  19. Also, not to sidetrack too much, but I "expected" .500 this year, anything less (from the beginning) I said would be a dissapointment. They have a team that spent some cash in free agency (most in club history) and had a whole bunch of young guys waiting in the wings or looking to build on a decent 2014 campaign (Sano, Rosario, Arcia, Buxton, Vargas, Meyer, Danny Santana, May, Milone, Gibson, Rosario, Kepler, Berrios, Hicks) some of those guys did well and a couple more didn't do much (or didn't get up at all/stayed flat) i.e. Sano Rosario Hicks All have done fantastic. Buxton Arcia Vargas Meyer Santana Honestly have been dissapointing in their performance overall contributed to the big league club (Not saying any of them are "done", but from we were hoping for and expecting in some cases? Dissapointing from all of them IMO) May Gibson Milone May has been nice in the pen no doubt, but many were hoping for him being a solid member of the rotation. Gibson, didn't step up IMO to be a #2 type, Milone: Up and Down, looks like #5 type instead of #4 type we hoped for after strong 2014. This is the group that didn't dissapoint, but didn't really "Step up" as well, so they are solid players that we hope could have been more in 2015. Kepler Berrios TBD obviously. Mauer, Hughes, Nolasco, Suzuki were all dissapointing overall as well. Dozier, Plouffe, Escobar, Boyer, Perkins, all nice surprises TBH. So at the end of the day, I am THRILLED we are playing meaningful games with 6 left. But I am not going to throw a parade at this point for going .500, since that should have been the minimum expectations to begin with.
  20. "Tired Arm" Hughes and "Tired Arm" Milone beating Corey "Twins Killer/Cy Young" Kluber twice in 6 days? Or finding water or mars.
  21. I am happy with the season thus far, but being this close to the playoffs? It will be hard to be anything but slightly dissapointed if the Twins somehow miss out. (The only way it wouldn't be as dissapointing if the Twins end the season going 6-1 or something and the Stros or Angels match it) Regardless of the rest of the season, TR and Molly's goal for next season should be 90 wins and compete for the division. Exciting times for sure to be a Twins fan.
  22. Except for tonight, and like 95% of the last two seasons, right? I don't understand your hatred of Perkins.
  23. HUGGGGGE Win. Hopefully one of Oakland or Seattle can win tonight as well. (Not even asking for both!)
  24. Ok that makes sense then. Thanks.
  25. Hicks is a great OF but man he seems to be timid on the warning track
