I don't see any possible way he could get away without looking at he very least like a huge coward who runs from his problems and confrontation. Even Fox News would turn against him at that point IMO.

If you are going to call him up you need to get him "starter" at bats. Murphy is still dogging it in AAA, so my guess would be Centero would be the starting catcher and the Twins would sign some AAAA type to be backup until Murphy earns a shot.

Mejia is only 23, is 92 on the BA top 100 list and has been in the top ten prospects for the Giants for 4 years in a row. This isn't Milone. There is plenty of time for him to improve his ability to pitch deep.

I would be shocked if Antony can trade Nolasco. Milone has no real value either, he is a DFA waiting to happen IMO

Nah, by all accounts they are bringing in someone new to be GM, but Antony likely will be kept around in some role.

Also, good on Nunez, when the Twins picked him up he was looking like a guy who could be out of baseball soon. Now he looks like someone with a solid career ahead of him in the NL.

#4 starter would be great, it would save us from another Nolasco, Milone or Pelfrey signing at the very least.

Wow, absolutely amazing trade. Mejia very well could be our 2nd best pitcher in 2017 behind Berrios. He's a borderline top 100 prospect as well, to get that for a util player is a great move! This shows that it's a sellers market right now, keep on selling Antony!!

I think Duffeys days as a starter are numbered, however I do think he could absolutely THRIVE in the bullpen as an 7th/8th inning type guy who can get you 6 outs when needed. -
Yup! Creating two rotation spots for May and Berrios would be a huge win. Ditto with creating a roster spot for Polanco.

And by "It" I of course mean control of the trade deadline, it's been pretty quiet overall, but the deadline is looming. Antony 100% without a doubt needs to trade the following players in the next couple days: Suzuki Nunez One of: Nolasco, Santana, Milone One of: Abad, Kintzler Anything less is simply unacceptable. I still maintain that Hillary will ultimately pull ahead once and for all during the debates, she is absolutely going to destroy the Donald and make him look like a clown. Hopefully Gary Johnson makes the debates as well and doubles up on him.

What it comes down to for me: Hillary isn't perfect, but she is by far the best option we all have. (No, Gary Johnson or Jill Stein aren't legitimate options) People can pine for Warren (who didn't run), Biden (who didn't run) and sanders (who lost by 3 million votes) all they want. I for one have been team Hilldawg for quite sometime and think she will make an excellent Comander in Chief. It's really way past overdue for people to drop the email "scandal!!11!!!!1"

I'd wager most finalists for POTUS and most POTUS could have been found guilty in the court of law of something or other. The fact is if you have a lot of money or a lot of power the rules are different for you, like it or not that is how things have more or less been since the dawn of man. People need to let the Hillary thing go. She certainly is hands down more trust worthy then trump.

I hear ya, I think it has had its missteps, one of which being spending wayyyyyy to much time on the whole feet issue thing. It's borderline Quentin Tarantino fetish at this stage. They seem to beat us over the head with a few things like that....and that the kids parents don't have a lot of money, are a working lower/middle class family. Some of that time could have been better spent IMO.
