  1. Prospects Live created a simulator for the draft. Sharing the link because it's fun to play around with. Hope you enjoy! https://www.prospectslive.com/2025-mlb-draft-mock-draft-simulator/

  3. Now I just want to attempt to copy Jeremy’s game for the draft but for the mlb side :)
  4. Dumb question, but he is out of options right? But yeah, I think that'd be a good move.
  5. I'm old too (whatever your definition of old is) but I have to say I very much enjoy data and numbers. More information helps me appreciate the game I grew up and love even more. To each their own I guess.
  6. Or they could just play like they did for May-July last year. They were well above that pace during that time. My HOPE is that getting Lewis back injects some juice into the lineup, but that is probably putting too much emphasis on just one guy. I don't think they are as bad as 7-15 shows, but they have to start getting something to click at some point.
  7. That kind of velo bump is very exciting. Can certainly see a scenario where he is in the rotation a long time.
  8. That's what is so disappointing. Other teams had spring training at the same time as Minnesota, right? I didn't miss where the Twins started spring training 3 weeks later than everyone else did? :)
  9. You mention Rodriguez, but I'd argue Keaschall could also be in line for LF play at some point too.
  10. Not this game specifically related; wasn't Royce supposed to run the bases Tuesday-Thursday last week and then be assessed for how close he could be to starting a rehab assignment? Has there been ANY news on Royce for how last week went? I want to assume that no news is positive in this sense, but haven't seen anything otherwise.
  11. I do think Keaschall is ready to help sooner. Excited to have both. The ceiling for Rodriguez is probably higher, but excited to have both.
  12. Hopefully he and his family and loved ones are all doing ok.
  13. I totally assume Joe Pohlad is in an office somewhere mixing up some Pina Colada's for everyone at this point.
  14. I'd really argue that IF he is healthy, there isn't anyone ahead of him in line. The STUFF is that good.
  15. Even last year they took a catcher in the 3rd round (Diaw) and another in the 6th (Derek Bender.) Bender obviously isn't with the club, but they have shown they will take a guy that they like. I would be ok with Stevenson if he is the pick. That tells me their development team would be confident in tapping into his potential. But I'd also be ok with a catcher at 36, or 54 or 88. I do think a top 100 pick on a catcher could be likely, depending especially on how they see the development of both Diaw and even Cartaya (for different reasons) over the course of the season.
  16. Yes the easiest path to him getting MLB time this year is in the bullpen. But really, if he can get stretched out enough, I hope they keep him as a starter. Best of luck to him with health this season.
  17. They did take Jeffers fairly high not THAT long ago. I'm not saying they will take a catcher at 16. Right now I'd imagine they won't. But just knowing that Jenkins and he have a connection means they can learn about who Stevenson is as a person fairly easily no? But yeah, take the best player at that point and go from there.
  18. I like him too, and he and Jenkins definitely played together during high school tournaments in North Carolina, so the Twins would very much know if he is a person worth taking personality wise. That said, you still have to take the best player. We'll see if he is both A) available at 16, and B) if the Twins think he is the best option there.
  19. I can’t imagine a scenario where #2 happens and the new owner or ownership group is like “you know what, we do want Joe Pohlad to stick around, that’s a great idea!” Maybe I’m missing something here, but if I am fronting 1.5-1.7 billion for a team, I would want to own that team and call the shots. Heck, if I were paying $500 dollars I’d have the same answer
