    It would seem that the only way to really make a move with the oft-quoted payroll restrictions is to move Kepler either before or as part of a trade. I don’t see this happening.

    If they (management) think this is a year they could actually go all the way, then they should support that. If they think the time is not yet ripe, they should acquire some more building blocks. My Magic 8-ball is not providing much help here.

    Hard to think of evil hitters since Rose and Boggs. Maybe AJ, although I don’t think so. With today’s players it seems more of the bad deeds are done off the field in the real world than during the performance of a game.

    It appears Yankees, Padres, and Cubs are all fishing for Snell. Seems pretty unlikely the Twins can outbid all of them. I still think Kikuchi might happen. Not holding breath, though.
