    It would seem that the only way to really make a move with the oft-quoted payroll restrictions is to move Kepler either before or as part of a trade. I don’t see this happening.

    That’s pretty much the case with anybody, isn’t it? Unless they are already well known by someone in the organization and get a good reference.

    I think this is our mostly likely get. They’ll have to use the MLB TV dole to cover the money.

    If they (management) think this is a year they could actually go all the way, then they should support that. If they think the time is not yet ripe, they should acquire some more building blocks. My Magic 8-ball is not providing much help here.

    Hard to think of evil hitters since Rose and Boggs. Maybe AJ, although I don’t think so. With today’s players it seems more of the bad deeds are done off the field in the real world than during the performance of a game.
