  1. Anibal Sanchez, Nick Blackburn, Scott Diamond, Scott Baker, Kyle Gibson, Liam Hendriks. those are the front 6. in 2013 for me.
  2. mine: 1. Buxton A- CF 2. Sano B+ 1B 3. Hicks B CF 4. Arcia B LF 5. Rosario B 2B/RF 6. Berrios B- SP 7. Kepler B- CF 8. Gibson B- SP 9. Harrison B- 3B/1B 10. Z. Jones B- RP/ SP 11. A.B. Walker C+ 1B 12. Boyd C+/B- SP 13. Bard C+ 14. Melotakis C+ 15. Herrmann C+ 16. Hermsen C+ (RH version of Diamond) , hopefully 17. Felix Jorge C++ 18. Goodrum 19. Michael C+ 20. Boer C+
  3. Today, in Buxtons debut game for Appy League E-Town Twins. Max Kepler (and A.B. Walker) stole the show. Kepler went 4-4, HR (8) , 2B (12) and SB (5) !!! great game for max today, and he's now batting in the .290 range.
  4. EXACTLY my thoughts only i think Scott Baker will be in the #4 spot. and BLacky and Hendriks will battle it out for #5....with the loser being long-man in the Bullpen NO MORE FRIGGIN JEFF GRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I doubt it, i think the Twins only deal will be Liriano. maybe Casilla or Carroll.....or a Burton or Perkins but thats it.
  6. YES Yeah buddy Gibby is on the comeback trail.... he's our Scott Baker V 2.0. Gibby and Baker in the 2 and 3 slots in the rotation by mid-season next yr. and Diamond and Hendriks or De Vries or Dedundo in the back end isn't too shabby. just need that top or opening day starter.... Shawn Marcum? - Klye Lohse? - ANibal Sanchez? Sanchez would get my vote...
  7. EXACTLY I've liked Didi Gregorious for about a year and a half now. I'd DEMAND him 1st.....then decide which pitcher they want to give us.... they have 3 Sulbaran, Cingrani, and Corcino. I believe.
  8. Cingrani and Gregorious for Span and Casilla GET IT DONE TR!!!
  9. I think BOTH Walker and Paxton are in play here.... 2 for 1. in Willingham Hultzen is all theres tho.... i would bet.
  10. my 2015 dream OF of CF Hicks, LF Arcia, RF Revere... 3B Plouffe....SS Gregorious......2B Rosario...........1B Parmelee/ Sano (AAA to start yr?) C Mauer DH Kennys Vargas ----BENCH----- C Herrmann INF Dozier OF Benson or Bigley UTL Escobar... --------- Max Kepler and Travis Harrison in AA. Hopefully a lot of pitching in the upper minors and Niko Goodrum too.
  11. The Trade makes sense for both sides (IMO)....assuming the Giants take on ALL The Money......BUt the Twins should be getting at least 1 more prospect if not 2 more. Kyle Crick is a really GOOD YOUNG SP prospect.
  12. Pirates still HAVE SS Alen Hanson B+ OF Jorge Palonco B+ OF Starling Marte B SP Luis Heredia B+ / A- SP Zach Van Rosenburg C+ SP Nich Kingham C+ theres still some chips for them to play around with and thats assuming Cole and Taillon are untouchable.
  13. And Zach Lee is no snoutch, he's a BETTER SP prospect than Randall Delgado Delgado will be a #3-#4 starter long-term, at best Lee has #2 upside or so. Awesome news for Twins fans. IMO too :_)
  14. GREAT POINT....in this case regarding Miguel Sano....Time is most definately the Twins friend. I'm eyeing 2015 as our big competitive bounce back year.
  15. somewhat agree....just wanted to add.... or Richie Sexton or dare i say....Andy Marte....gasp Nooo Adam Dunn like at 1B would be a pretty decent outcome though.
  16. Update* Niel Ramirez has faulterd...pretty poorly...so CROSS THAT one off. But Gregorious certianly is one that remains a Solid option (reds interest in span) But man Scott Diamond is not going anywhere, bad semi suggestion on my part when i did this.
  17. Yeah Jeremy, You're right. I mean I may be about ready to relinquish any thoughts/ imagination of him being a future 3B. (I think he'll be our heir 1B) But I"m certianly not ready to be "scared" of the Strikouts and Lack of puting the ball in play more, as a concern. The guy has enormous offensive potential, power even still. And could wind up even better than many of us may expect.
  18. Sano is mightily struggling right now.... 0-4 yesterday 0-3 with 3 K's already today..... and going to be batting in the .230's soon. So if Twins management, player development....think he's only going to do well next year by repeating the MidWest Lg. And probably be a disaster at Ft. Myers in the FSL. Than i'd certainly be open to trading him, if it meant him and Blackburn or him and Hendriks to get a David Price like talent in here. (doesn't mean i'd trade him) However, if you think he'll destroy the FSL or MDWL next year, and are confident he'll stop Striking out 25-30 % of the time, (i'm not sure i do) than you MOST DEFINATELY KEEP Sano. The Walks are there (GREAT) but the K's are toooo much, even for a power hiter like Sano. At this point, he's not even nearly as good as the Cubs 2B/3B prospect Javier Baez in the MDWL..... and arguably a lesser prospect than OF Jorge Bonifacio (royals) He's certainly the best we've got, but his stock, to me, is rapidly dropping. BTW, he's a 3B/1B prospect not a SS/3B prospect.
  19. Agreed we essentially have to do 2 things..... 1A Find the next Pavano.....Colby Lewis, McCarthy and Shawn Marcum are probably possibilities. (the key is to get them for less than 8.0 Million a year) like 5-7. 1B Bring back Scott Baker !!!!!!!!!!!!! -after declining option, bring him back for cheaper, incentive laden 1) FA 2) Scott Baker 3) Anibal Sanchez? (if others leave) 4) Diamond 5) Gibson, Hendriks, Blacky.................Bromberg, Lanigan, Hermsen, Darnell, Walters....
  20. Should say our off-season top prospect list would look something like: 1. Sano 1 B. Taillon / Heredia 2. Buxton 3. Hanson 4. Rosario 5. Arcia 6. Hicks 7. Harrison 8. Berrios 9. Rosenbaum 10. Gibson 11. McPherson 12. Boyd 13. Kepler 14. Bard 15. Wimmers 16. Herrmann 17. Goodrum 18. Boar 19. Melotakis 20. Grossman/ Rhodes/ Salcedo/ Hauser/ Hermsen

  23. Not the Worst farm system actually rated in the top 20 overall.... of the 30 teams without question to me, but, its definately outside the top 10. Evan Bigley OF - New Britian would be in my top 50. Caleb Theilbar RP - might be right at #50. Angel Morales OF - would be no higher than 35. There are a few others.... but for the most part good list YOur House MY House.
  24. My thought, THey could REALLY use Willingham, not so much Span with McCutchen and Starling Marte/ Pressley already on the roster. Willingham, Liriano, and Casilla to Pittsburgh for Robbie Grossman, *Jameson Taillon or Luis Heredia, Kyle McPherson, Evan Meek, and Allen Hanson, or Jarek Cunningham (i don't think they want to move Cole, Marte, Sanchez, Appel, and probably Hanson) ---Span to the Nats for LHP Danny Rosenbaum and INF Steven Lombardozzi ---- 2013 Twins 1. Revere -CF 2. Lombardozzi -2B 3. Mauer -C 4. Torii Hunter -RF 5. Morneau -1B 6. Plouffe -3B 7. Doumit -DH 8. Grossman -LF 9. Dozier - SS
