    We are all happy but....... At 24-34.....MN is 16-13 in last 29 14-8 in last 22 9 of last 11 Chicago is 33-26 and in first place. Their .559 winning percentage is good for 91 wins If the Twins play at that pace over their next 59gms..... they are 57-60 after AUG 13th.....

    Can we all just admit that Gray will be the casualty when we need the 5th starter next SAT. Last 7gms 6.1IP 9h 10er 3bb 4k 5.16 ERA when 2nd worse pen ERA is Perkins 3.65 We have 7 competant bullpen guys w/o him & several deserving relievers in AAA.

    think Rick Anderson is one of the biggest reasons for the decline in the team. Hate him. Guys dont respect him & players get worse pitching for him.

    he had reached the point of no return with Rick Anderson tho. Andywas no longer getting anything out of him & they had to dump him for nothing......then he returned to form. Kind of like Jose MiJares this year also.....or Frankie Liriano next yr. Or how about not getting anything out of RA Dickey but repeatedly giving Nick Blackburn chance after chance (tho contract dictates that)

    When UZR defensive stats came aboard a few yrs ago....I stopped using errors as the sole meter for defense. Official scoring in MLB games is horrible & I cannot gauge a player on those anymore. Dozier is 15th of 26 SSs (via Fangraphs) in defense (250INN....Brian's amt). There is nothing wrong with his play so far. He's missed some plays, he's made some plays. Offensively, he's fine. .952OPS vs LHP so far .554 vs RHP. Needs to play everyday right now & see how he progresses.

    while i felt like we reached on our compensatory picks & didnt like em per value...Walker was the one highly rated player (59th by BA) who fell to us in 3rd round (97th). Get him signed ASAP. Only 20 yrs old (21 on Oct 18) out of Milwaulke. If heads to Beloit, like he should.....that should help attendance there as well as add protection to Sano. 3 yrs @ Jacksonville, the OF/C (OF fulltime w/MN) 168 gms 644ABs .359/.441/.635 w/51doubles 2 triples 41HR 174rbi 184k 88bb 40/41sb Only bad thing from that stat line is his Ks but he got better every yr 74 in 192ABs as frosh for 33.6K% 63 in 242Abs as soph for 22% Ks 47 in 210ABs as junior for 19.4% Ks

    myself, a draft where you dont sign your 3/5/8 picks & your #4 doesnt go above GCL is a bust. Why waste the picks if you arent gonna sign them?? If MN isnt spending the total allowed, it makes sense why they reached on so many FAR below their daft averages. Total BS if its true.

    have their been other moves as this leaves ROC w/27 players.....has there been some DL moves?? This doesnt count Darryl Thompson who is still on the ROC roster for MiLB I got DeVries, Henricks, French,Bromberg, Maloney as starters Guerra, Oliveras, Robertson, Waldrop, Wise, Fien, Vasquez, Slama, Deduno, Guittierrez Carson, Dink, Ramirez, Thomas in OF Rivera & Towleas Burroughs, Chang, Florimon,Valencia, Nishi, Hollimon in INF 27 correct????

    Agree there 'could' be a market for him, but if you're not blown away with a Type A prospect....not interested. Don give away a guy like him.....but listen.

    Hoping Harrson & Boyd can turn out, but true to Twins...they will keep them in GCL this yr & ELIZ next yr.....and not know anymore about them then they do today. Cannot trust numbers at either level....makes me so upset about Keplar & Goodrum goin back to ELIZ. Last yr was their draft yr, so that shoulda been the GLC yr. IF they ONLY play in ELIZ this yr as 19 yrs olds do....then fine, we'll find out about them next year. I trust ELIZ numbers less & less each year.....huge power numbers for the likes of Evan Bigby/Angel Morales etc in that league. Never understood why top prospects cant start in Beloit & if they cannot handle it yet, send em back to ELIZ.....ala BJ Hersen 2 yrs ago. Cant help but improve their development unless they have so little confidence to recover from a bad 2 months.

    no question that lack of K's for Hermsen/Dean are troubling......but they get guys out. Rather have that than a strikeout pitcher who gets knocked around. Beggars cant be choosers.

    the Twins take WAY more interest in keeping a guy down due to a single bad game than they give credit to someone for weeks of good perfomrance that should have ya thinking about promoting a guy.

    People always associated steroid use with superstars with power or 96mph fastballs. There were as many finge players doin them & plenty of average throwers who used em just to get to that point. Lookin back, there were SEVERAL Twins that Im pretty sure were using quite regulary.
