    Looks like rain, oh well. In honour of the recent 28th anniversary of the greatest baseball movie ever made, and the it's connection to the Twins opponent, I bring you the Major League Game Thread. All discussion in today's thread must be in relation to the movie. If something happens in the game, only Major League references are to be used. Players will be referenced by who you think most closely resembles them in the movie, from both teams. For inspiration, here is a list of the funniest lines from the movie Lineups.     There is no room for 2nd favourite teams in hockey. I especially abhore the false nationalism in Canada that somehow obligates me to cheer for other Canadian teams in the playoffs. I hate all those ****ing teams the most!!

    The Hawks 3rd and 4th lines are not their problem. Johansen's line is eating the Toews lines lunch and Keith and Hjalmarsson are getting chewed up as well. Crawford has been comical at times.

    Oh c'mon, you don't actually believe this do you? The guy was just hanging around at the house for gods sake, this level of scrutiny is insane.

    Lol, it will change eventually. The NHL has changed it's playoff format 26 times in it's history. That's about once every four years. You're complaining about the 2 best teams in the West playing in the 2nd round? Try playing in the Met division, at least one of the top 5 teams in the league will be gone in the first round. It's a crappy system from that standpoint but the NHL loves it's divisional rivalries.

    If you could simply choose to not slip, why would anyone ever slip? What relevance does it being 72 hours away from The Masters have? Christ, if he was really back on the bottle, he probably would have been crawling for that matter.

    Yes I do watch golf, they are in shape, they just aren't built like athletes who play contact sports and are probably a little less resilient. That's all.

    It was 3:00 in the afternoon, why assume it was the night before? He didn't fall down the stairs, he slipped and landed hard on his back. Perhaps the floors were hardwood, maybe marble, who knows, the guy got hurt. An athlete in their prime? He's a golfer, not an NFL linebacker.
