    Hope the Gophers go in with a bit of a chip on their shoulder from the doubters. I find it funny most pundits are betting on MTS based on the fact they beat MSU in last years tourney and are returning most of their players from that team.

    Middle Tennessee SOS ranking is 151, RPI 35 Gophers SOS ranking 20, RPI 20 MTS has only played 5 games against teams ranked in the top 100, they are 4-1 Gophers have played 20 games against top 100 opponents, they are 12-8. I agree with Chipper, I think the Gophers win by 8-10.

    #5 seed, to play Middle Tennessee State, or as I affectionately call their football team, Blue Mountain State. They actually have a good path to the Sweet Sixteen. Go Gophers!

    The broadcasters association votes on this award, not the writers, the PHW do the Hart and the Norris, among others. There is no East Coast Orig 6 bias, a Ranger coach has never won the award. Not sure who else is East Coast other than Boston, and I'm not sure I'd consider any of their winners undeserving. Even if we throw in Montreal and Toronto, that's only 3 more winners. Of the 42 winners of the award, only 11 of them have been from Original 6 teams. Considering how many teams have been in the NHL during that time, that seems rather equitable.

    63% in the first half, whatcha going to do? Falling behind that early and coming all the way back, combined with that physical game with Sparty and Pitino only using a 6 man rotation, just wore them down. If Springs doesnt get hurt, they win. They missed his influence today I thought. Crap, I hate Michigan.

    Pretty sure its a popped achilles, he's done, I feel really bad for him. Nothing can ever just go easy for the Gophers, it's just the way it is it seems. Hopefully they can use it as a rallying point to fight through the tournament. McBrayer gets the chance to step up again and they are going to have to lean on Coffey more as well. Murphy and Lynch are going to carry them now. If any Gopher team can survive this, I think it's this one. Great win.

    I'll admit, not me. After January I was preparing myself for the annual Gopher nosedive right through the B1G tourney and have to cross my fingers they'd still get a berth to the big one. Too cynical or hardened Gopher fan? Or is that the same thing?

    Woot woot!!! Mason, holy hell! Yes Murphy was dominant. Another strong game from Lynch, 6 blocks. Huskers had no answers in the paint. When they tried to zone it off in the 2nd half, Mason and McBrayer killed them. Love their balance right now.

    As an alleged smart businessman, Trump's talk of cracking down on marijuana is shockingly stupid and short sighted. A 40 billion dollar industry where seizures of illegal product are down over 30% and sales of domestically grown and sold product are up over 70% to more than 4 billion (one of the fastest growing sectors of the US economy), should be one a smart person takes more advantage of. What an idiot.
