    More than 6 games...... If they keep playing at this disastrous rate (which they won't) I'd give it until the end of May. They haven't even been home yet, yes it's been ugly but let's at least let them play in their own park first.

    I didn't see a lot in May's performance in late Aug-Sept to indicate he can't be the most effective 5th starter on this team. I think he was ahead of where Gibson was at the same point in his first go round, much further in his K rate.

    I've been surprised all Spring about the lack of talk on May getting the 5th spot, another outing like that I don't see how they can't. Don't get me wrong, I know they are good at finding reasons not to but I think it's time to give him the ball out of the gate, just like Gibson the year before.

    Agree with RB, I don't have a lot of use for Nunez in the big picture but all this talk of his bad defense doesn't meet the eye test, in the infield at least. He shouldn't be near an outfield, but then again neither should Oswaldo Arcia. I'll take Eddie 2's bat before Hermann and wait for some in house talent to fill that spot before long.

    Would love to see that kind of performance on a consistent basis from Gibson this year, he teased us with it a few times last year in between clunkers. Here's hoping he takes that next step and is able to show that form more regularly. I think he will.

    Honestly ? You're "seriously" concerned about Plouffe after what, 12-14 PA's in ST? Really? I don't think that's one to lose sleep over at the moment. End of April, mid May? Well, now we have a problem Houston.

    I only care about whether it brings about results on the field and in the standings. Which I highly doubt it will.

    Seriously? He's not asking your permission to bring his child, he's looking for some advice on where to sit. Here's a suggestion, if you're planning on attending that particular game and are concerned about disruptive babies ruining your enjoyment of watching Oswaldo Arcia flail around in left field, stay home.

    Definitely 1st base side, doesn't have to be in one of the decks, anywhere in the Home Plate Box or Diamond Box sections are out of the sun if you're at least 15-20 rows up. I've sat there many times with my wife and kids. Great sight lines all the way up to the last row, which is handy for bathroom accessibility.

    I'm cautiously optimistic about Molly bringing good things to the team this year, it will be interesting to see how his attention to detail plays out as that was an area that certainly slipped in the last few years under Gardy. Hell, I'm just looking forward to a new manager, I liked Gardy but this is a refreshing change.

    Yeah, the NHL All Star game is truly a waste of time, I can't think for one second the players have any interest in being there instead of taking a break somewhere. I won't even talk about that draft and skills competition cringefest..........embarrassing

    Well, calling it a game is a pretty loose description, more like a leisurely game of pick-up. Factoring in the marathon that is the Stanley Cup Playoffs, I figure we're around the quarter pole for the season.
