  1. So Wisconsin couldn't play D in the first half? Your football observations are interesting to say the least. Oh, that pass from Leidner to Williams was sweet,.....and so was the TD run.
  2. Going to be awhile for Penn State with so few scholarships.
  3. First time offense........and it was Kaleta after all, so there's that.
  4. Just staying between the lines.....
  5. Not that Pav played poorly, he didn't ....but Hutch better start against the B's. Hope Perreault is back, looks like Lowry might get suspended. Need Enstrom.....less Clitsome.
  6. I would have thought there would be more Ding Dong fans here.
  7. This has to be it, I mean it's easily the most plausible explanation....
  8. . Well that makes perfect sense...
  9. They played OSU 3 weeks ago and MSU last year, even before divisional play they didn't play the whole conference every year. Mason's teams couldn't play defense and had no depth. He didn't build the program for consistent success.
  10. Why is someone already within the organization considered a yes man? I work in a large, long time, family owned business with exceptionally low turnover rates, we have very few yes men and remarkably continue to evolve. A new hire can just as easily become a yes man as a longer tenured one. Perhaps they have hired people who they feel have the necessary experience, skills and also reflect the principles they believe in, that doesn't automatically make them yes men.
  11. Ok, let's not get off track here , saying opinions are dumb is not good cricket........especially when you don't spell check.
  12. This is certainly where we disagree, I do expect this team to compete with and possibly beat teams like OSU and Wisconsin, but more importantly they expect it as well and continue to believe it when faced with adversity. You could not say that about Mason's teams, he was satisfied to be just good enough, because, you know, we're just Minnesota, you csn only expect so much. Kill will continue to further that attitude imo, which will increasingly help to attract better talent to the program. Personally. I feel Kill has put the program in a very positive situation much sooner than I expected.
  13. Who goes first, Bo or Brady?
  14. Iowa gave the Badgers all they could handle today.
  15. Damn straight! This team has an incredible belief in themselves and a great deal of fortitude, that's directly attributable to Kill. Not many people would have put them in this position after the Iowa-OSU, Husker-Wisconsin stretch.
  16. Another big victory for the Gophers! Defense continues to force turnovers and the offense once again controls the clock and doesn't give the ball away. When you consider how things could have turned after the Illinois loss this has been an impressive run for them, Bring on the Axe!!!
  17. Hey, better teams than the Gophers have lost to OSU (looking at you MSU), no shame, they played hard and didn't fold their tents, unlike past Gopher teams.
  18. Better play from the QB position could have changed the outcome but then again it might not have. OSU is an outstanding team and while it is frustrating that Leidner played so poorly when the game was there for the taking, it is still a positive step for the program in the big picture. The Gophers still have a ways to go before they can put themselves in the category of the Buckeyes, but they are getting closer. Looking forward to the Wisconsin game, that's the one that really matters anyway.
  19. Missed you last week, how odd.
  20. Another strong effort, good to see them get rewarded. Bogo with a couple of defensive gems and another solid start for Hutch, nice.
  21. Yep, effin Carey Price....effin goal posts.....effin Habs.
  22. Lumberjacks........not even close.
  23. I agree with One eye, by the time you've reached the majors as a catcher, let alone played 10 seasons as one in the big leagues, you've kinda proved your toughness.
  24. It's no Paul Bunyan's Axe, that's for sure.
