  1. That was a Passed Ball in my book - Jeffers should have blocked it
  2. How many sloppy plays can this team make? Tired of watching the same old crap.
  3. Yes, good to see a full 9 inning game today - although not sure the Twins offense has played a full nine many times this season - seem to get quiet the last 3 or 4 innings or like yesterday quiet all game. Initial thoughts with Cave and Rooker batting back-to-back are not good ones. A lot of whiff opportunities. Hope they break out at some point but it has been pretty bleak watching them hit or not hit this year so far.
  4. Their main issue is that they are playing "October Playoff baseball". Unfortunately its the Twins version of playoff baseball. I feel like it has continued into this season with the offense. Individual players have been hot but they have not had a team offense yet. Between injuries and resting and Covid lineups have been all over the place - there is still time to Gel but can't waste too much more time and this is very difficult to watch.
  5. Cordero swings like most of the Twins....fortunately
  6. What is frustrating is when we increase the rest breaks and the players get hurt anyway. We all aspire to getting paid more for doing less though. Good thing Astudillo, Cave and Sano don't need any rest breaks or we couldn't field 9.
  7. Good test of Donaldson's wheels right out of the gate
  8. On the plus side Donaldson made it to first base on the single without getting injured. NIce to see his bat back in the lineup
  9. Who called Buxton not starting in either game? They are the winner.
  10. Yes, Buxton would have been ideal to bat for Jeffers - looks like Jeffers was afraid that he would hit into a DP
  11. What kind of at-bat was that - didn't really want to swing.
  12. Good eye - Cave - walk is as good as a hit there.
  13. Whew! I am thinking Waddell is being optioned after this game to activate Donaldson. OK, now let's see if we can eke out a couple of runs
  14. Not sure why if we have 14 pitchers on the Roster - someone else can't pitch in a one-run game
  15. Oh Boy - Bad News Bears. Seems like Kirilloff should have caught that pop-up and how about our pitchers just take the easy out at first on bunts going forward. Going for the lead runner hasn't seemed to work out.
  16. Just amazing to watch Buxton bat - what an awesome steak he is on. He is killing the ball.
  17. Astudillo's new nickname is the "Pop-up man"
  18. Half-joking here but I have a suggestion for watching Twins games - watch for the the first 3 hours and then turn off the game - don't waste more of your time. Colome needs to be moved to mop-up duty and too many dead spots in the line-up - yes that means you Sano, Cave and Jeffers. Its early and I am sure those batters and relievers can turn things around.
  19. Buxton is the man - we need his speed and bat. Here's to hoping he stays healthy. Also nice At bat by Astudillo to get the run home.
  20. Pineda might be the worst hitter ever. Why wasn’t he still bunting with 2 strikes?
