    We are now the worst team in baseball - both in record and what we have seen on the field. Who has done less with more.

    Good News is we are under our 3 run cap - so we can still hit the cap, tie the game and lose in extra innings. We haven't lost an extra inning game in a while - we need to mix it up a bit.

    At least our relievers are holding them to only 2 runs per inning.

    The usual fart and fall down with runners in scoring position. Even when we do get a hit we don’t score from second. This inning embodies our season to date

    Thanks for the intro Mill1634! Game Predictions: The Maker of Shoes, with his job on the line will deal tonight. Pitching a complete game by refusing to come out when approached to be replaced in the 5th inning and every inning after that declaring he will go down with the ship. Thusly motivated he will hold the Tigers scoreless the rest of the game. The bullpen will get a much-deserved? rest. At least much deserved for us. The Bringer of K's which represents the name of the last 6 hitters in the lineup with the exception of Mr Simmons will live up to their name despite facing he talents of one Tarik Skubal and his 6+ ERA. However the top part of the lineup will deliver enough runs to secure the win. As an aside, it is a shame we do not have Mr. Baddoo on our team because with a BA under .200 and striking out almost half the time he would fit right in. This victory will have a positive impact on the team and will launch an 8 game winning streak.

    Guess it didn't matter who starts the inning on 2nd base in extra innings - might as well put Kirby Puckett's statue out there - they are not going to score.

    So Donaldson is only left on the bench to pinch-run for Cruz which is not ideal. Might want to re-think that decision to bat Polanco for Gordon

    Love the speed Gordon!! 2 Stolen bases already - brings some life to the lineup

    Do Not underestimate the Twins ability....to find a way to lose baseball games this year. It’s like we are stuck playing Minnesota Twins playoff baseball but against worse teams. Free Gordon - he can’t be much worse plus be nice for him to get a major league at-bat.

    Thanks for the game thread opening SampleSize! Looks like a Colome bullpen night so fasten your seat belts and have plenty of cervezas and margaritas! Fasten your seat belts may not be the best term - watching Colome pitch is more like a slow torture. Astudillo better be getting his arm warmed up. Best of luck to the Twins tonight - I hope the bats are hot!
