  1. The indicators are there, but the Twins will take all the results that defy expectations that they can get.
  2. Who had three consecutive K's from Paredes on their Twingo card?
  3. Conversely, I think we want Jeffers in the lineup as much as possible.
  4. Boyd's record against the Twins is OK, but it seems like he always has their number.
  5. Can't give up! ⚾⚾⚾ Landing below 500 not option.
  6. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Two years ago, Luke Keaschall was playing in a game that I attended in Cedar Rapids (yes, that is how quickly he ascended), and you could just tell that he was better than every other player on the field. He was playing the game at a different speed. It felt like he had no business playing that level of baseball. I was not at all surprised to see him making his debut at the top level less than a year later. He's going to be the kind of player that ticks other teams off by being a step ahead in each situation. He'll be a pest, but he's our pest. Love watching it.
  7. I thought hockey season was over, but here we are smelling the Calgary Flames. Jake Middleton must have walked into his new locker room and lit a fart.
  8. Wait, were the Twins banking on a 19 year old to save the franchise' catching situation in the near future? I missed the part where there was suddenly organizational concern regarding Tait after half a High-A season. Most 19 yo players don't even sniff High-A. I'm sure glad the Rays took Emerson over Lackey, or we'd be screwed.
  9. God forbid these productive veterans get in the way of the shiny prospects. The CBA looms large as to what these decisions should really be.
  10. You don't get a kick out of Boomer sounding off with, "Back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back!"
  11. That's fair. I had some expectation for Larnach, but absolutely zero for Kreidler. Honestly, when he was called up, I was just thinking dumpster dive. Sure was wrong.
  12. I think my top five positive unexpected contributors this first half are in order: 1. Bradley 2. Gomez 3. Clemens 4. Morris 5. Kreidler
  13. I'm just saying relative to other starts and the fact that the AS game is coming up. It's not a plug for the bullpen at all
