  1. Your lack of Caps makes me feel otherwise.
  2. Nah, I ketch ya. Thanxs for the cerrectian.
  3. I think it is proper etiquette to keep your eyes closed when your kissing someone. That's what I have been told, you tell me.
  4. Us dang gum Amerikans no not much about histories. Me apoligeesz for the rest of us. No direspek meantt.
  5. If this was 1909, Mauer would have edged out Ty Cobb for the HR title in the A.L. and defecated on his triple crown chances. Chew on that for a minute. Oh wait, yuck.
  6. My answer would have been Kerguelen Island. Tahiti if I wanted to treat myself well. Syria... not so much.
  7. Ichiro is a Japanese Treasure and an American Treasure. I am glad he reached the 3K hit marker and it will be fun to watch his speech when he is inducted to the HOF on the 1st ballot, whether he does it himself or has an interpreter or both. His style of play was unorthodox and he was a joy to watch play in the 2000's as much as it was to watch Bonds play in the first half of that decade. Who knows, I am 2 years younger than Ichiro, but I might be sixty by the time he eligible for the HOF. (: Dude is a Ninja!!!
  8. I wish Mr. Rodriguez the best success in his life after baseball. He was one of the greatest players who played this game. He did use PEDs, this soils his accomplishments and he will pay for that accordingly in the HOF ballot. Everyone makes mistakes, a SUPER GREAT percentage of us do not make 25-30M a year, but that was his fortune, not our misfortune, I don't feel cheated. I could care less. Good luck Alex, maybe being out of the spotlight will help you to become a better person. I cannot imagine 23 years of scrutiny. Live well and find yourself, become the person you want to be extracted from the lens of celebrity.
  9. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone. I have learned a lot on this thread, it has been inspiring. I am going back to college and I need to be prepared for that with the other things I have going on. Good luck to everyone and I hope the election turns out right. I think most on this sight know what right is. (: let;s hope that happens!!! So long, Bark
  10. Solidarity on that 100,000,000,000,000,000,000%
  11. A Trump presidency is national suicide, and the rest of the world nations will be murdered by the aforementioned gun man.
  12. I'd be reluctant to trade Rosario. The OBP was sad last year, but he had a nice rookie year. I believe there is some legitimacy with the "sophomore slump" concept. An OBP under .300 is unacceptable, and he will never be a guy that walks a lot, but if he can raise his average into the upper 2 hundreds and can provide power from the three extra-base categories, and coax 30-40 BB's - I am super "curse word" solid with him. I will not give up on Rosario until Brunansky is replaced and Eddie falls flat on his face. I don't think Bruno is a good hitting coach. From my perspective, he has had direct success with Dozier on his approach, and he is good at times, and on a simple stat page his results look okay, that page does not show his prolonged slumps that last half a season or more. I think it is reasonable to require coaching dismissals and bringing in new blood from fresh modern day baseball minded coaching staffs, before we give up on an athletic, multi-talented baseball player. A lot of very, very, very good/great baseball players in the history of this game had a good rookie year, sucked the second, and in the third went of to have a fantastic career. We live in a world of instant gratification these days, it's not gonna happen on the ball field, the players are human beings, not the internet. We can find any information we want with a few clicks on a keyboard or phone, a ball player's development is a crapshoot and they would benefit from having competent teachers surrounding them. Eddie has roughly a year+ service time in the bigs, as fans let's show some more patience before we piss him away.
  13. I love Paul Molitor. He is a hometown hero for me. It makes me sad to say that he needs to go after this season, along with the whole coaching staff. The bunting obsession has me all ****ed up. To shake things up, I would have Buxton leading off. Let's put him in a position of importance and see how it goes. I am not an extremist about how baseball should be played, but the Twins are out of touch. I understand that Tom Kelly was Molitor's mentor from a coaching stand point. But that idealism is long gone... at least 10 years gone, probably more. Baseball Ops: Jason McLeod New Manager: Dave Martinez
  14. I watched a decent amount of it. Booker was very good, same with Warren and Bernie. Michelle knocked it out of the park! Barrack and Michelle have to be the best speech giving husband and wife tandem of all time. They are incredible. They really bunched together a lot of the speakers that make you want to tune in on Monday, I hope that works for the best - I have my doubts... spread the wealth around. Wednesday, should be damn good with Biden, Kaine, and Barrack. I am concerned about Bill Clinton tonight, he really has seemed to put his foot in his mouth during his wife's campaign. Hopefully he doesn't **** it up, because that is the last thing she needs right now with all of the other black clouds floating over this thing. I have not been the biggest Fan of HRC, but it is apparent to me now that everything must be done to extinguish the Donald Trump fire. I don't even have the imagination to think what his presidency would look like. Oh yeah, and a special **** You goes out to Julian Assange!
  15. Personally, Sano should play 3B the rest of this year and all of 2017 before we make a final conclusion at the soonest. If he has 35 errors next year... oh well. Grind him out at that position and if you see good things in 2017 even with the errors, do it in 2018. Make sure it is impossible before possibility has been exhausted. Us fans seem to want the former, instead of the latter. I am a big fan of Plouffe, but his time has come and gone and he is rightfully being pushed out, I feel pretty good that he will find a new home and have success.
  16. Sad. Maybe he will be bitten by a radioactive spider and gain super hero strengths that enhance his lack luster ability and we will see him again this year.
  17. A 7-15 game slump in the midst of a very strong season does not strike me as an oddity. It happens all the time for all players.
  18. Doing a quick search it appears that he is making 8.375M this year. That would leave the Twins on the hook for 3.5M+ if they claim him. That's not really all that much money to not take a gamble on a guy who not very long ago had tremendous upside and results. It seems like it went down the tubes for him when Washington acquired Papelbon last year. Toronto's offense orientated ball park doesn't seem like the best place to get your head screwed on straight again. With the deficit the Twins have in their pitching staff, I would do it, the Twins are going nowhere this year and can afford to throw him out there regularly, even if the results are no good. Maybe he can be straightened out. It's worth a try. It is definitely not a crazy idea.
  19. Like every politician, Tim Kaine has his blemishes and I do hope he changes his mind on a couple of matters, but as we know, nothing is ever perfect. I am on board with this ticket, but that is worthless to say as Trump needs to be defeated, I cannot stomach a world where Donald Trump is the President of the United States. I would have voted for Clinton if a piece of dog **** was her running mate, also, I would have voted for dog **** if it was the democratic nominee for president. I think Kaine will be a great benefit for Hillary. Do it right and don't use the word progressive as a tool to swindle people who support you, make that word become reality when you are elected to the greatest office of this country.
  20. I don't know what the heck happened, but I really Like Tim Kaine, he rubbed me right I guess. I like where he comes from and he has built it himself from how it appears. I like success stories, especially when it comes from a guy who you would never think would be able to attain this level of service. He appears to be very humble, that is the kind of person I can throw my support into.
  21. I watched the Kaine introduction, and maybe I drank some of the snake oil, but he is very likable and well read. He reminds me of my uncle, a lifelong Republican who switched parties after "W". If this guy is 33.33333% the guy my uncle is, I like the pick. Maybe someone roofied my snake oil, I don't know. Is it just me, or does Kaine look like Paul Molitor?
  22. Self doubt is human nature. Especially for poor people who come from ****. According to what you say, maybe all poor people should commit suicide. Problem solved.
  23. Maybe some Millennials took that at face value. I think rational people thought the student loan issue could be an problem where some form of relief could be solved in the next administration.
  24. I get that this is a hidden away forum on a baseball website site. But, come on Dave. You can get away with that kind of rhetoric here and that's fine... whatever. Just think if someone in an important position in the Democratic Party said that they would isolate the party from the Sander's enthusiasts and staunch followers. They are important to defeating Trump, insulting them will do no one any favors. Some of them are on the fence and don't be a negative force in determining which way the wind blows. Rather be a determining force blowing in the right direction, not the opposite. That last sentence/paragraph you wrote in your post sounded quite similar to the Romney response when he lost the last presidential election. No offense was meant, but that is how your post struck me.
