  1. No reason to post this, but the song has the same name of today and maybe the feel of your post.
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnqFy7jsmhw
  3. Nice speech by Barrack in the Parliament of Canada. I certainly am a fan of Justin Trudeau. I very much appreciate Canada's parliament for being a gracious host. I love my bothers and sisters to the north! Canada's politics comfort me with the pieces they have in place. My country... not so much.
  4. Then give the players away and/or eat the salary, dump it. I have no problem with that. Chopped meat... ha, ha, ha. We are dealing with Buddig lunch meats here. Chopped meat sounds a lot better.
  5. Tonight, it looks like it is Dozier's world and we are just living in it.
  6. I like your excitement, but nobody is going to pay a worth while price for chopped meat. It will be... **** it, I have better things to do.
  7. Anyone can be traded off of this roster. We will get nothing good in return. If you are looking at the product I am, It is as clear as ice. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
  8. Congrats PMD. Are you getting married in your hometown of Chamber of Farts?
  9. This is not directed at you Craig, I know you are a good man and fight for the good of mankind and I very much appreciate it. I want to address Islam. There are a good plenty of muslim citizens in the world, who want to live a good life, play the game as I would say and co-mingle with the others that do not share their beliefs and be a part of a society that can be great. On most levels, I think that these great people are secular with there beliefs when it comes to law, government, etc. Let it be clear that I see the great flaw in religion, Abramaic religions for certain. I am as much a fan of Christianity, Judaism, as I am with Islam. I am not a fan of any of them. I really hope we see our Muslim Neighbors in this country and in the other western nations as equals, especially when they embrace a secular view points. I do not think this has ever been a problem until the last 30-40 years. Unfortunately is some places in the western world, we do not see these folks as equals - but that is some people, not all and obviously the "some" needs to change. All religious extremism is a cancer, and it lingers, i am so fed up with it. Islam is in trouble right now, it's identity has been thrown into the abyss, we have so many young people throwing there selves into an extremist identity, it makes me quite sad. What I would like to see is this: Where different people from all walks of life, religions and such take a common sense, secular approach to the issues we are dealing with these days. If we don't do this the situation will get worse. Islam needs to be challenged and a good amount of reform is needed and It has to start with the people who are modern muslim secular visionaries. I know that Sharia Law has no place in our society or the world. It is unacceptable and is an insult to the human race in modern times. I have no interest in seeing women's rights spit on, and people of alternative lifestyles persecuted, executed or shunned from their communities. This does not reflect upon the secular population that subscribes to Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hindu, or Bhuddist, etc., etc.. You are my brothers and sisters. As a united front, we can fight this and fix this. I believe that!
  10. I'll assume that is a joke until I see her life insurance policy.
  11. Hey Van. It's your biggest fan and mediocre fill-in calling you for some much needed advice. I have been suffering from some kind of disorder of late, it's weird, I'll try to explain it the best I can. I am starting to grow hair on the palms of my hands and my eye site is getting worse by the day. I am beside myself on this one. Have you ever heard of this before? I am starting to get freaked out. Also, I have heard that Danny Santana is a great Merengue Singer, don't you think it would be wise for him to get out of this dead end racket we call major league baseball and chase his true and more fulfilling dream? I'll hang up and wait for your response.
  12. For me personally, I want to dedicate this victory to one of my greatest friends - Dougie. He died yesterday after a brave battle against cancer. He was only 40 years old. Since junior high we have been as thick as thieves. Along with my wife, he was a soul mate to me. It is devastating to see him go, but my best Twins memory with him was when Denard Span hit that triple against White Sox in September of 2008. It was a charged environment and we went nuts… out of our mind nuts. That is a memory I will always cherish. I love you Doug and although I am a non believer in faith, I hope you find your place in the stars. That would be the best!
  13. You say that as a joke and I hope it was with the best intentions. It is more complex than that and in different parts of the world it is common place. Eating meat from a dog is no different than eating meat from a cow, pig or chicken. Maybe it freaks out some of us western nations because we are so entwined with the "Man's Best Friend" concept. I'd try some dog if put into that scenario, it would be awkward as I grew up in the U.S.A, and I was under that sphere of influence. Here is a link for your viewing pleasure: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lychee_and_Dog_Meat_Festival
  14. Thanks for the hint and good to hear.
  15. Hey David. How is the food in Hong Kong? What are your favorites?
  16. I live in St. Paul. In the winter it is hard to drag your ass out of bed, go out into that nasty cold weather, warm the car up, go back inside, go back out out, deal with awful drivers if it is snowing. Zero Degrees hurts in a bad way. In the summer, I spring out of bed, do my thing, run out to my car all gleeful, go to work with a fantastic disposition. When my work is done for the day, I get into my car and it is 110 degrees… that hurts in a good way.
  17. I banish you to Bangkok, Thailand in the year 1885.
  18. Agreed. It is mid-June. Give me 85+ or give me death!
  19. I'm gonna try something sort of different today. I am wiping the slate clean today. I know there won't be any playoffs and 90 losses seems clinched for the Twins. But I call out to the baseball force that flows through us all to change the tides of a regrettable season. Today will be the day the Twins start playing competitive, watchable games, and the young guys start to pick it up. We may lose, but let us lose with honor and pride. Mr. Ryan will also have an epiphany and start taking chances on the hotshots in AAA (Berrios, Chargois, etc.). As for the coaches, teach the players well and execute decisions that are based on 2016 Major League Baseball. The past only includes old ideas that are usually bad and defunct, riddled with worthless nostalgia, and in my opinion, forward thinking is exciting, challenging, scary at times, and absolutely the right way to go. I commemorate this moment with a bottle of clean slate Rally Rum! Lex Talionis!
  20. I would be hired as a janitor at Target Field.
  21. Free at last, free at last, thank god almighty I am free at last!
  22. With all the BS aside and having a laugh or two, because those are very necessary, Thanks David. I very much appreciate it!
