    Losing is going to continue until we get rid of our manager. He's got no fire. Every word he speaks is carefully chosen so as not to offend. I guess I'm kind of old school; but It's painful for me to listen to him. I imagine the same goes for most of the players. They are jocks, not civil servants! We need a straight talkier. We need a guy to come in and command respect. . Francona. comes to mind. Until then, as some of my younger friends say: "I'm otta here!.

    I always liked Lynn. He's a tough competitor. I wouldn't mind seeing him back in a Twins uniform.

    I hope they sign Cruz, Eddie and Romo for next year. It'll delay the coming of Larnach and Krilloff, and we'd probably have to trade Rooker; but I'd like to go for it all this year and next year with the soul of our team intact.

    I'm beginning to think we made a big mistake in signing Donaldson. We could have signed Cron for one more year and kept Sano at 3rd for one more year.

    I don't like it. It's a knee-jerk reaction to placate the rage of the times. So throw Calvin under the bus. The guy's dead, so he doesn't know. Maybe it'll upset some of his relatives, but who cares about them. It's not really that big a deal. So, enough about that; I'd like to talk about something else. Throughout the years, I've been aware of a liberal leftest bent in this publication. I don't like it, but I put up with it, because I love baseball and I love the Twins. But I'm getting pretty sick of the constant PC push by some (not all) of the main writers on this website. So, I'm going to take this opportunity to push back with a few simple questions: How many of the Twins Daily writers are black? How many women write for you? Of all the articles and blogs you publish, what the percentage are written by white males?

The problem is not silence, it'staking advantage of your position on this website by using it as a bully pulpit to spew your views on what's wrong with America. I'd put your views at the top of the list. Shut up and stick to baseball.

    Yeah, I like Dobnak, even with a loss today. If I had to choose today, I'd go with Dobnak. But we've got two more weeks of Spring training to go. That gives each candidate at least 2 more starts. Things might be clearer then.
