    I enjoy watching the new look Twins, but Gasper not being able to execute a bunt that could have cost us the game is painful. Please DFA him now!

    Ask the Dodgers what it would take for Dalton Rushing. Start with Duran and E-rod, and add another top 5 prospect not named Jenkins or Keashall and they may just listen.

    Would the Brewers accept Paddock, E-Rod, and Raya for Freddy Peralta?

    I know how i would get C4 to waive his no trade clause. Start Lee at short every game until the trade deadline and let him sit and rot on the bench and I guarantee he'll demand a trade.

    Prielipp should be up now piggy backing SWR's starts. Opponents load up lefties vs. SWR, he pitches 4-5 innings. Prielipp comes in for 3-4 innings temptingthem to pinch hit their lefties out of the game. Advantage Twins for Jax or Duran to face right handed batter if he's needed. His stuff will play in the bags, why wait?

    Could have used Buxton's bat today. He just had 10 days off, why now? Same goes for Lee over Lewis. Give them their off days against lesser opponents like the Athletics coming up.

    Your centerfielder's better defense playing despite hitting one hundred doesn't do you much good when McCusker's bat would give you a better chance to score some runs. Put Cody or Castro out there until Bader or Buxton come back but please don't make me watch Keirsey attempt to hit...yikes!

    Why is Kearsey, a buck -0-8 hitter still on a big league roster? Why did we call up McCuster? I don't get it.

    How does Keirsay Jr hit .108 and stay on a big league roster? Bader should be starting every game in center until Buxton is back to get McCusters bat in the lineup.

    I believe that Pablo to the Dodgers for Rushing is more likely than Ryan for Basilla.

    I just hope he's smart enough to get the Twins catcher of the future, center fielder of the future, or shortstop of the future when he deals Pablo at the trade deadline. Let the trade speculation begin because this team isn't a playoff team.

    Doesn't Lewis have to run full speed for pop ups down the foul lines? If he can't run full speed without injuring himself, maybe he should just DH and let Lee play 3rd.

    Last year he made it all the way to game 1. This year he didn't even make it to the opener. Maybe Lewis should be told to jog to 1st and DH only since he can't sprint without injuring himself.

    While I totally agree that 90 wins should win the Central, in the playoffs your opponent usually has equally good pitching if not better. The team that scores more runs in each game wins 100% of the time, hence the need for better offense which the Twins did not address.

    Ober and Duran for Basallo and Mountcastle. Long term catching solution (who can also play 1st when not catching) and 1st base solved. The money is about a wash. Now get Cease to replace Ober.

    Falvey must have assured the Pohlad's that he would either trade Vasquez or Paddock to pay for Bader.

    I wouldn't give Boston Ober or Ryan for Casas, but I would offer Duran and Miranda for Casas. Stop with the nonsense that power hitting 1st baseman are a dime a dozen. Only Vlad and Harper hit 30 HR's last year. CASAS hit 13 in 68 games, do the math.

    So much for that rumor, the Padres just signed Diaz to catch.

    If you can aquire an ace you give SD what they want. SD is looking for salary relief so I think the Twins have to pay down 5 million of Vasquez's salary rather than giving SD more trade capital. I'm thinking Larnach, Vasquez, and Matthews would get it done. Use Castro in left until the trade deadline and hopefully E-Rod takes over. Of course the Twins will have to move Paddock to pay for Cease with the 5 million they save on Vasquez combined with the 3 million they would save by trading Castro at the deadline.

    I believe that a deal with SD for Cease can only happen if the Twins agree to pay half of Vasquez's contract which still saves them 5 million because their motivation is reducing payroll and acquiring a catcher who they are interested in. So i would offer Vasquez, 5 million, Raya, and Larnach if you believe E-Rod will be playing in a corner by mid-season. If you can get a top starter, you do it!

    Castro and Duran for Dalton Rushing. Get catcher position solidified.

    I'm trading Castro and E-Rod for Dalton Rushing. We need a catcher more than hoping Emma is good enough to take the starter role from Larnach or Wallner.
