Minnesota Twins Prospect, Andrew Morris, To 15-Day IL With Right Forearm Strain

Well, the last depth piece is removed for the moment. And I've been fairly impressed with Morris, despite some inconsistency this season.

Next up would be Adams, I assume, at least as a 3-4 inning opener. I'm betting they begin to stretch him out.

After that, who knows? The recently promoted Baker, having a good AA season after coming over from St Louis, McCaughan, or old friend Dobnak? 

Matthews can't get back soon enough.

How about picking up our old friend Kyle Gibson? He opted out of a minor league deal with the Rays. He was bad at the beginning of the season with Baltimore after being a signee late in spring training, and seems to have gotten it back together in AAA. Last year was 8-8 with a 4.24 ERA in 179 innings for St. Louis. Not great but better than throwing SWA and Festa our there and that's before thinking Ober may need an IL stint. Classic back end innings eater but gives you a chance. I think he's worth a shot given where our pitching is right now. 

This team is done. Give the youth time and a chance to learn and grow, or learn you need to not trust them. I have zero interest in a veteran inning eater.

Not healthy! I'm just more against adding old guys to save the season.
