ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Twins missed their chance to get something in return for Fein by trade, IMO.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Well, sure- just taking another look, I'm sure- why not?At this point in the game, I'm all sarcasm. Otherwise, I'd have to pin my hopes on our sparkling offense! Whoosh! Sorry, missed that.
BigTrane Provisional Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 On the board! Woo! Spaarkling!
BigTrane Provisional Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Whoosh! Sorry, missed that. No sweat- BTW and off topic (kind of/not really) MLBTR: Worley placed on waivers.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 off topic (kind of/not really) In a game thread? You jest. / which, I guess, is 100% OK, come to think of it
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Dick'n'Bert debating whether the Mets catcher blocked the plate too much according to the new rules. Guess Teagarden didn't lift his pinkie finger, like at a tea party, or tip his helmet to the runner, thus showing his lack of couth.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Twins Daily @TwinsDaily 1m Nolasco: "First inning was pretty terrible. I think I could've done better if I told them what was coming." Gotta laugh.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I think I could've done better if I told them what was coming." He still has another start in ST, to work on that facet of the game.
James Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I forgot that there was a game today. March Madness/work and all.
James Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 It looks like I missed a lot. Not much that is good though.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Most of us don't want the picsThank you for posting what is obvious. It was a moment of enjoyment for me, however.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 You missed balls going for a ride to the deep outfield. Pretty tedious after the first several.
James Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 You missed balls going for a ride to the deep outfield. Pretty tedious after the first several. You only say that because the rides are coming from the other teams bats. You'd love it if the Twins were the ones giving the rides.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 You only say that because the rides are coming from the other teams bats. You'd love it if the Twins were the ones giving the rides. (Borrowing ChiTown's camera for this.)
James Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Off topic. There's zero tolerance party on that, remember?
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Zero tolerance on what is stated in the Comment Policy about these game threads, I suppose. Not Okay: hurtful posts, blatant rule violations, or being a grouch. Said with a smile, obvii.
James Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I was just kidding anyway. Can I start a threadjacking thread? The only thread that it is ok to completely change the subject... I don't want to get banned for joking around with the rules.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I was just kidding anyway. I had already clicked Like on it - no misunderstanding on that count. I can't recall anyone ever earning one single infraction point for something said in a game thread. It would be possible, if someone failed to understand the spirit here and decided to repeatedly be obnoxious.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Haven't seen much mention of Dozier lately. His BA is down to .211 in the 7th inning, that after a blazing start in ST. Any concerns?
James Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I think Dozier needs some time with Bruno again. Or, it's spring training and no need to get overly concerned.
James Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I had already clicked Like on it - no misunderstanding on that count. I saw the "like" after I posted my response. I could have edited to take that sentence out, but, you know... laziness won that battle.
