Scott Tanksley - Firefighter & former Twins Minor Leaguer

Passing along this sad news. Scott, a former Twins minor league pitcher in the mid-90's and currently a firefighter, was killed when trying to help out a stranded motorist in icy conditions. A car slid into him and knocked him off the overpass. Leaves behind a wife and 3 kids. He went to same college as myself.

Thank you for sharing a very sad item, but one that needs to be known. Our firefighters risk life and limb at any moment and are certainly under appreciated. God bless, Scott, and thanks.
