Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Slama can be 'adopted' if anyone would like. From a tweet of mine yesterday: "Justin Greene strikes out looking. Anthony Slama strikes out the side. Now 1 ER in 21.1 innings, 12 walks, 36 strikeouts. #JustSaying" After yesterday's performance, Slama's ERA is now down to 0.42. In 21.1 innings, he has given up 13 hits, walked 12 and struck out 36.

Coach J Verified Member Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I think I remember Seth saying in the offseason, "this guy should be pitching in the big leagues, whether its with the Twins or someone else." I agree with this statement and was shocked he was not claimed. I feel bad for this guy because it gets to a point when one wonders what else can this guy do? I keep thinking there has to be some reason the organization does not think highly of Anthony. People take a lot of shots at the Twins and their decision making, but the fact is they are still professionals and have to be good at their job. So I am going to trust the people that are getting paid to make these decisions. But still.. the guy misses bats! Good luck to him
