Funderburk shouldn't be sent down. He has earned his stripes in July and should remain a Twin. Nothing more to gain having Fundy in St Pail. He only gets better pitching in big leagues at this point.

I'm not sure you trade anyone, but you have to trade them and not release someone like Jackson.  Jake Rogers was just traded to the Orioles today.  Granted, he was DFA'd earlier in the week, but he was still traded.  Dodgers are so desperate for catcher help that there are rumors they could bring back Rortvedt.  Jackson is better than either of them.

Jackson BA at 308 and can play different positions..nope..other choices in my view...I like Jeffers...but the Twins will not meet his payroll requirement for 2027...he will be here a couple of months

Let them have him ,   zero importance to this present Team ,  trade- release  dont matter ,    not needed here,  its affecting Sheltons judgements  and decisions
