It might be preference when ranking a guy who is so far out. Personally I'd put a guy that young lower too, but I get the logic Fangraphs is using, if it were a high schooler they drafted in late round 1 at 18/19 years old, he'd be ranked higher than #24.

Definitely not blaming you for that ranking. That is an enormous leap for a national website. That's a guy who could go from 10 to 30 in a heart beat.
