Sam Caulder Twins Daily Contributor Posted February 21 Posted February 21 In 2026, the Twins could have a secret weapon in Austin Martin. I think Martin should have an opportunity to play every day in left field. I really don't think he's that versatile as far as the positions he can play. I think he has a chance to be an above average defensive left fielder and he's passable at second base and maybe center field. Senior Softball Guy, LambchoP and Linus 3
LambchoP Verified Member Posted February 22 Posted February 22 If he gets consistent reps day to day in LF, rather than being moved all over the diamond like they love to do with young players, I could see him becoming a pretty good defender out there.

I can't say enough good about Mr. Martin. this guy works his butt off so I love to see him in the lineup. he came back last year and did very well and I expect him to do even better this year. when the lineup comes up every game I want to see him in it. then I'm more interested in watching the game actually.
