Tom Froemming Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Rocco Baldelli is out as Minnesota Twins manager. Who's next? While there's no shortage of good candidates, one name stands out to me. View full video
Whitey333 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 Lombard is as good of a choice as anyone. Doesn't matter quite as much since the Twins decided to retain Falvey. Falvey is left to hire the next manager what a disgrace. IMO we will probably get Rocco 2.0. Rocco was not a good manager but he was very loyal. To make him the scapegoat for Falveys incompetence is criminal but typical
AKTwinsFan Verified Member Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 I think Justin Morneau would be a good hitting coach. Maybe Nelson Cruz as Manager.

Not bad thoughts. Guys gotta want to do the job. Neither needs $$ nor headaches. Morneau seems to live a pretty comfortable existence just doing 40-50% of the games broadcast. Not sure Nelson wants the grind and responsibility/headaches? IMO, he probably does not have great interest. Competitors like to compete and that’s a big draw for both guys!!
S Bart Verified Member Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 I do believe that it may be time to hire a good bilingual manager if one is available.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 No rookie managers. Please.
LauraBeak Verified Member Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 It'll be Toby Gardenhire. (Not that I want that! Don't get me wrong.) Mark my words!
