Both Rogers twins traded today

The Pirates acquire Taylor Rogers as part of the Ke'Bryan Hayes trade.

The Mets acquire Tyler Rogers.

The Mets getting Tyler clearly is a contender picking up bullpen help, but the Pirates getting Taylor seems like more of a salary offset between them and the Reds, and I wonder how interested Pittsburgh might be to flip him elsewhere.

Taylor was flipped to the Cubs today.

I'd really like to see the Mets decide they need a lefty and the Cubs decide they need a righty so they could trade one brother for the other.  (I know, deadline has passed.)

Mostly a salary dump to balance the Hayes trade. His inconsistent performance means Pirates probably won’t keep him long.
