If you never draft a catcher........

It isn't a REACH to take a good hitting catcher. 

Which catcher has this team developed taken past round 2? Maybe it is how they ignore actual catchers that has put them in this position to pay Vazquez (who can't hit) 10 million.....and not have anyone to replace him at this point, three years later.

Ike Irish is a no brainer if he falls to 16. Next year or two we sign a Stallings/McCann type backup until Diaw or Irish get called up.
