Threats against players

I was surprised to hear on the 19 June broadcast that Bailey Ober and his family have received death threats.

This is sad and serious. Please immediately report any expressions of intent to harm anyone, or suggestions that someone should/might be harmed. Our state has seen enough heartbreak in recent days.

It's beyond depressing to know that people think this kind of behavior is okay.

This is crazy. It was after his last start that it was reported. Sure. We get upset at outcomes and poor performance. But death threats is WAY over the line.

First I've heard about any such threats to Ober. It was bad and disturbing enough to hear about the threats to McCullers of the Astros last month, but it's utterly unacceptable for ANY player to be threatened or harassed. I hope they are able track down the creeps that make these threats and lock them up.
