Apparently Tampa can still be the 3 seed

I Really, really don’t want to play in LA again

Yep. Skol Rams! Might as well hedge our bet in case if we lose tonight. Tampa isn’t scary at all.

I'm mildly surprised that the Browns kept Stefanski. The Watson BS killed that team (and that was the owner, apparently) but usually had coaches and GMs don't survive these kind of seasons.

It's the Browns, they aren't firing Stafanski, because they are the cheapest team in the league and won't pay two coaches.

I'm glad he's likely not getting fired, because I think he might be a perfect fit to developing Caleb Williams.

Jarod Mayo is the first HC out the door. I agree with the move as I think if that organization wanted to return to being competitive, they needed to clean house and start over with no Belichick ties.

But of course the rumors are that Mayo is out so they can aggressively chase Mike Vrabel. Which keeps the Belichick era going. I know Mike Florio and tons of league pundits love Vrabel and think he was unfairly fired, but he's the kind of coach that will never win a title because he refuses to adapt to modern football. Which, if it's not YOUR favorite team, that's fine. Playoff appearances with no shot at a championship only matter to the actual fans of the team.

Sorry Vrabel, sorry Mike Tomlin, but insisting that you will only try to win by having an awesome defense and awesome run game doesn't work anymore. Not saying it's impossible, but it's like a once every decade and a half proposition. And building an elite defense and elite running game is harder than they think. An innovative, high flying offense is a much better bet. The Patriots now may have the QB to do that, but I'd be worried that Vrabel will completely ruin it by turning him into a game manager.

Ben Johnson would be a good fit in NE. Franchise QB in place and tons of cap space to build the roster.

And what seems to be a pretty accommodating owner who doesn't meddle with the actual football stuff.

Unless he's forced to break up a fight between his HOF QB and HOF coach.

Here’s a tip for Miami… Have an NFL caliber backup QB next year. Embarrassing effort against the Jets.

Absolutely amazing how many teams are literally 1 injury away from having no chance to win a game because their backup is SO bad

I don't know, if you have to go to your backup QB, I don't know badly I care about winning a game.

If Miami had Gardner Minshew as QB, congrats, you make the playoffs with the honor of getting smoked by the Bills in the 1st round with or without Tua. It's a forgettable season either way.

In the case of Miami, they haven’t won a playoff game in 25 years. I think their fan base would love at least a wild card win. If they had even a merely average backup, considering tua’s health issues, they could conceivably have won a game in the postseason. Even garappolo has about 250 yards today.

This Huntley guy playing today is awful. Can’t throw the ball more than 5 yards downfield

I want to believe karma is coming for Kansas City for allowing a divisional opponent to make the playoffs so easily

Yeah this was a total joke. Then again, if cincy didn’t start so terribly, they’d be in.

Nick Mullens would be a great option for a lot of these teams, at least he can actually throw the ball.

One would think.

But I'm pretty convinced that Andy Reid can see the future and knows the right move to make in every situation.

Well he's probably going to make himself an extra few million next year because of the perceived KOC wisdom rubbing off on him.

Huntley maybe would have been a great backup if they'd use him right, as he's the complete opposite of Tagovailoa and the defense would be unprepared. Like Jordan Love and Malik Willis.

But the Dolphins aren't doing that. 25 passes and only 20 rushes, and only 2 runs by Huntley? Which is the one thing he can do?!? Achane has 118 yards on 10 carries. Why are they throwing more than ten times today?
