One of my twins gets an icecube out of the freezer last night, puts one end in his mouth....and it sticks to both of his lips.

 

Then he freaks and pulls it out, bloody mayhem ensues.

 

Like any good father, it's time to educate. So....

 

I pull up the tongue-on-pole scene from A Christmas Story on youtube for him to watch.

 

He didn't find it nearly as amusing as I did.

I'm guessing that Ashbury's first ban will be me and then I will ban him right back and we will be down to two in no time at all.

That would be fun. The banning power is awesome, but like nuclear weapons, it should be rarely used.

Wow... that is funny!! I actually did laugh out load...it was audible.

 

I might try that on my one of my kids but my youngest is 10 years old so it would have to be about "Slenderman".

 

At 10 years old... I was picking them up while sleeping in the middle of the night and moving them some place else.

 

They couldn't figure out how they ended up sleeping in the bathtub or behind the Couch.

I may keep this avatar a while. I was actually thinking earlier that there is quite a bit in common between the two photos in terms of facial expression, probably going a long way toward explaining why I like them. But at this moment I am envisioning a conversation between the two of them being very one-sided. "Honey, I know you're enjoying your new-found attention from the boys, and of course they like the bewbs and all, but a bit of advice: to really impress them you simply can't surpass skintight leather."
