Stewart to Have Surgery

Audra Martin posted on X that Brock Stewart is having surgery on his shoulder and will miss the rest of the season. What started as a feel good story is coming to an unfortunate conclusion.

Stewart broke the majors with a 93-94 mph fastball, then after some early career injuries, it dropped to 91-93.

Then, Stewart comes back after a Tommy John, joins the Twins, and is somehow throwing 97-98. It was too good to be true. We did get some good outs from him in his time here. Best of luck to him.
