In episode 34 of Destination: The Show, Jeremy and Jamie sit down with Joe Doyle, Senior Analyst at FSS and host of Over Slot, an MLB Draft Podcast. The guys talk through the top of the 2024 draft class, including asking Joe who he’d take at 1:1 before talking about some specific demographics and how they stack up compared to 2023.

The guys then talk about some options for the Cubs, Brewers, and Twins with their first round picks in what looks like a chaotic draft board after the top group of prospects. They talk through the college catching class and some options for prep pitching and the challenges of the demographic.

This is an absolute must watch if you are into the draft.  Excellent read on players and how wild this draft might be after the first dozen picks.  I plan to watch it again.  It was that good IMHO.

I would be excited if the twins took Brecht. I don’t know how much to trust his command overall, but if they took him, that would tell me their trust their development enough to get him to meet his ceiling (even if his floor is a reliever potentially.)
