Just for future reference, how would I do this?

I posted this initially once I saw it come across my phone that evening. I didn't see the main article on the front page yet. I apologize if I did something incorrectly here.

You didn't do anything incorrectly. But when we see multiple posts going up on the same topic, we do our best to consolidate. And since this was a done deal, no longer a rumor, I opted to direct traffic to the other forums. Also, this one didn't have any posts in when while the others did, so it made the decision easier.
