You can tell this is going to be a long game based on the first play. 
 

Defense knows you’re starting an untested rookie QB and will assume it would be a cowardly run up the middle. If you actually TRUST the rookie QB, you throw a pass over the middle to the TE if only to make the defense question their game plan.

Tough field position so I won’t be too harsh, yet. I’m already getting Christian Ponder PTSD. The 3rd down he made 1 read then ran for his life.

Why are the blitzing less than normal? I don’t think they’ve blitzed on 3rd down yet.
