I can tolerate the vest, but those guys trying to reel in that toy fishing rod, makes us look like fools, and I thought we had that covered by just our play in the field and at bat.

Duran. Gray maybe. That's it, IMO.  It would be great for Ober or Ryan to get recognition but I don't think so.  We have a good starting rotation but I think strong cases can be made for pitchers on other teams and ours get left out.

Yeah, he'll probably be the only one. And as far as I'm concerned I'm glad there will only be one player. The ASG is a farce and the fewer of our players having to deal with the travel and hassle the better.

I thought pitchers were selected differently or at least one position player had to be selected.

As things line up, Ryan is scheduled for the 9th, so it would be easy to name him and then have him replaced because of having pitched on previous Sunday. 

But yeah, I could see it being just Duran.

The All-Star pitchers and reserves for both rosters, totaling 23 total players from each league, will be decided by a player vote and selections from the commissioner's office.

The full rosters will be announced at 5:30 p.m. ET Sunday, July 2, via another show on ESPN.

MLB All-Star Game time, channel

The 2023 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled to take place at 9 p.m. ET July 11 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle (Fox).

The Home Run Derby will take place the preceding night at 8 p.m. ET July 10 (ESPN), and there is also the Futures Game, featuring the sport's top prospects, at 7 p.m. ET July 8 (Peacock).
