I still hope we are in a "rehab" situation for his knee or hip or whatever holds him back, and we still get the Real Byron Buxton this season, preferably sooner than later.

I hope that too, and I wish he would be put on the injured list while he does that rehab. I have a hard time celebrating all the games he's playing the way he's currently going.

I love Byron Buxton... He's one of us... But I'm sorry... It's June and Cleveland is in town.

This is the offensive production that is bottle necking the DH position. 

Sometime injuries make you better. 

I'm going to say it... Last night's comeback was in part possible because Buxton got out of the way.

The Twins hype Buxton up to be a superstar.  He isn't.  He is hitting .220 this year.   K's a lot.  Sounds a lot like Miguel Sano minus the speed.  If he starts playing CF then obviously he is not Sano.  But in 2021 in Sano had an OPS of .778, Buxton is at .770, and hit 30 HR's which Buxton can reach, Sano's BA was .223 and Buxton's is at .220.  Sano had more K's then games played which Buxton is on pace for as well.

So in short our superstar is the 2021 version of Miguel Sano.
