As the Nationals are calling up Bloomington Jefferson grad Jake Irvin to make his MLB debut today, I thought it would be great to start up a forum thread on Minnesotans in pro (affiliated) baseball. Lefty Brandon Williamson will be called up and make his MLB debut for the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday in Colorado!

Gus Varland has a nice story as a Rule V guy who has made the Brewers' roster this year. He spent time on the IL and just came back to the Brew Crew and unfortunately was lit up last night (9 ER in 2/3 inning).

And Louie's brother Gus was DFAed. I believe he was in the Dodger organization and he would be offered back to them.

JP Massey (Gophers, Pirates) and Drew Gilbert (Stillwater, Twins draft in 2019, Astros) will be participating in the Futures Game next weekend.

Adam Mazur promoted from High-A to Double-A. He was drafted out of the U of Iowa in the 2nd round of the 2022 draft. He graduated from Woodbury HS.

Added RHP Dylan Tebrake. 8th round pick in 2022 out of Creighton (senior sign). In 26 innings at High-A this season, he has 40 strikeouts.
